Jesse / Eliel 5/5
Manager Communication:
Busier than usual first round, but still tame drinks wise for that opening Thursday crowd. Got a nice crowd at Trees before each showtime. A few folks for Cinco at Trees, but not a serious push at all. - JM
FOH Staff Observations: Everyone gave it their all.
Special Events? Chenelle rocked it in Th3. Great crowd. Wonderful time at Lobby Bar.
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
86ed / counts on items: Lobby bar is out of coke. Trees has a 3/4 bib. Firewalk is on a count until Passion fruit comes, which is expected tomorrow.
Prep List: Chelsea made 4x Mr. Fusion, 3x Firewalk, 2x Lemonade, Strawberry Lem, Simple Syrup and 2x Paradiso - JM
Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: W e got Union, Serene, 12%, Empire and Interboro today. All good! - JM
Evening was very busy everywhere at once with the private event in 3, and Doctor Strange selling out everywhere. Trees was consistently busy until the 10pm Strange sat.

I was called to Lobby bar when there was a patio guest who ordered food and drinks and didn't have any other way to pay other than digital. She compelled me to accept venmo for the $70 check plus a $15 tip and I went with it after exhausting other options and wanting to run up. It probably wasn't the best thing to do but I signed the check with tip in front of the guest and they understood that we need physical payment next time. The guest was a patio regular last season and I did remember them and wanted to minimize discomfort.
There were guest disturbances calls from Theater 1 during the last Strange. There was a large group in the 7th row who had outside candy strewn across their tables. I stood by the group with Dwight, I asked them to remove the outside food and let them know that other guests voiced discomfort with their noise and behavior. Dwight stood by. After checks were dropped they didn't respond to prompts to pay, and Jeanette went to them and collected payment, which became very complicated but we got them settled as they aggressively voiced their discomfort with everything and said they would not be returning. At one point there were two guest yelling into the service area. I asked them to please wait in the theater or right outside of it, and closed the service door. The last of the checks were settled and they left.
BAR Staff Observations: Great opens by Ian and Chelsea, who helped us get WAY ahead of the game for this weekend. They machine cut garnishes for the first two hours and then when Jenna came in as a swing (pushed her to 3:15 pm so she could stay later, opening round at 80 tickets was easy for one) Chelsea went back and batched for almost three hours. - JM

Ian helped stock both bars and helped get Trees set up with extra garnishes. Chelsea helped everywhere.
Everyone worked very hard tonight. Gabrielle hustled through a frenzy of margarita orders at Lobby, while taking the brunt of the theater 3 Guest. I made a few margaritas as well. A quick lobby bar spike until theater 3 sat. Great crowd. Meanwhile Tevon and Jenna handled the last theater 1 rush and Jenna gave a hearty pre-close before leaving.
