Manager Communication: Steady brunch service, leading into a busy dinner round. Plenty of children’s birthday groups coming out to see The Bad Guys in the early rounds. JH

The evening began big, I walked right into the thick of it. Trees was consistently busy till about 8:30, then thinned out. Pretty good night. EL

Customer Comments: Maria who was working Fantastic Beasts in th7, told me there was a drunk guest while I was covering lobby bar. I radioed it in and Jeanette came down and spoke with the guest who was returning from the bathroom and was very happy to leave and thanked us. It was pretty early in the movie. The people next to him seemed pleased and unbothered.  The guest did not order anything and seemed to have consumed alcohol before arrival. EL

Helped a couple of guest check out early into Dumbledore and gave them a credit. They said they were just very tired and immediately fell asleep and said they'd come back this week. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Natasha had great brunch opens on both floors, rounded out with restocks when Ryan and Ian came in. Natasha was able to get out of here around four, and Chelsea was cut after Ashley and Tevon came in at five. JH

Ian got out at about 8:30 and we got Ryan out after some good restocking from both. Tevon and Ashley closed down and did a great job cleaning the frozen machines. Everyone worked very well together and kept up with heavy flow of traffic at both bars. 

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Guests are getting increasingly frustrated that we cannot accept Apple Pay outside of the Filmbot terminal, which generally leads to them being quite curt and rude to staff. It’s becoming a pretty common occurrence at both bars. 

I know that we have posted the information on our site, and Lobby bartenders and servers are aiming to work the information into their first interaction with guests, but could we get signage reiterating the point? JH

86ed / counts on items: We need to order grenadine, all in-house grenadine is behind both bars. JH

Prep List: Ian made Cinema Paradiso, Divine Inspiration, Fire Walk With Me, Lemonade, and Michelada. I made Demerara and Pineapple Ginger Syrups. JH

Pay Outs: $74 Soda

Maintenance: The soda gun at Lobby Bar is pouring bubbles just a step above flat, and unsuitable for service. Myself, Eliel, Gerard, and Jesse all checked it out and could not figure out where the issue was. 

The tank in the soda closet is within its appropriate ranges, all lines are properly connected at Lobby, and the compressor was plugged in and appeared to be working.  Eliel commented that the soda guns had appeared to be pouring with less pressure yesterday, but that he did not believe it affected product at the time. We don’t believe water pressure to be the issue because both hot water and the ice machine were running fine. 

Eliel did a payout for cans of soda to get the first floor through tonight’s service. The soda at Trees Lounge is unaffected, so any sodas we did not get cans of will be served from Trees instead. JH
