Jenn/Jesse 4.9
Manager Communication: A very busy, very welcome, Saturday morning. Th1/2 was busy every round, with Sonic and Everything Everywhere selling really well all showtimes. Not too much of a bar crowd during the day but Trees definitely picked up around six o’ clock. JH
An absolutely crushing but very successful night at Trees and in the theaters. Felt non-stop, with a few pauses, from 4 pm through the end of the night. Every Th1 & 2 show through the late round was heftily sold or sold out, and the bar also got great crowds before and after. Was able to swing Jenna up for the last Sonic of the day and she helped cover both bars to stock and refresh once done. Then cruised through the Batman in Th2 with Jenna and cut her afterwards. Ian and Ryan crushed it through the end of the night; we had a long turnaround on a seating of Everything so the bar got packed and then sat and had a speedy drink service. Great support from FOH for that, with only having to pause drink service once or twice to get some drink running support from some other servers and then a stationed runner through the rest of the show. Really felt well organized tonight, kudos to everyone on being fully stocked from product down to garnishes. We never had to emergency run for anything, and didn't feel like we hit any hitches as a bar team. Really impressed. JM
BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was really flexible today, which really helped out both bars, as we were down a bartender (elaborated below, in Sick Leave/Call Outs).
Tevon and Natasha opened both bars with no issue. Natasha handled the majority of the morning solo in Lobby, as Jenna swung upstairs to help out Tevon at Trees. Ryan came in early to help Trees through a very busy afternoon.
Communication between bar team was really great throughout the day, which helped both bars stay ahead of service rushes. JH
I have nothing but more of the same to say about the PM team. Things were so well oiled. Jenna especially deserves major credit for her ability to jump between floors and really start handling service bar. She's come a long way.
Ian and Ryan were truly seamless upstairs. I had to hop back to cruise through the big bar crowd but then they handled service, even with a deluge of tickets, with no problem. JM
Sick Leave/ Call outs: Chelsea had put up her opening shift yesterday, ultimately swapping it for Tevon’s mid shift, as she was feeling run down. Unfortunately, she woke up feeling much worse, with a great deal of neck pain leaving her unable to turn her head. She got in touch with me while we were opening, and had already put her mid shift up on Schedulefly.
I reached out to all bartenders not scheduled for today, but none were available. Ultimately, I had Jenna bounce between both bars based on service rushes, and Ryan was able to come in an hour and a half early to help Trees get through a very busy second round. JH
Same note for the PM, but this seemed to be a consequence of the long food times. When I was running trays in, there was so much both food and drink to run in instead of a better paced service. Kitchen needs to communicate these issues more proactively, since they effect the entire building in ways they may not think of outright.
Glassware rotation much better tonight. JM
86ed / counts on items: 86’d Tecate. Michelada will be made with Narragansett until we get more in. JH
86'd Michelada late tonight due to a lack of Maggi to make more mix. JM

Also made some Paradiso and Ian made Negroni, Mansion kegs and a ton of Fusion. JM
Pay Outs: $3.00 (rose for garnish) + $15.49 (fresh ginger for syrup) JH
