Manager Communication: Easygoing Saturday morning, with sales steadily rising throughout the day. Patio got a decent hit at the start of the third round, and Trees began to develop a crowd around the same time, too. JH

Business just kept ramping up all day, with good mid-day numbers for family movies spring-boarding right into back to back to back sold out Everything Everywhere showings in Th 1&2. Ground floor got very busy today too, with patio business steady through the dinner round and a lot of well sold shows down there too. The movies are all still solidly popular, so even with Everything Everywhere dominating the smaller theaters are seeing really good numbers. 

Had some tight showtimes today, specifically a sold out Th4 coinciding with a nearly sold Theater 2. Drink running got a bit backed up to the third floor and I had some MOD and server support and we got right out of the woods. Other than that, great night with good Trees business as well. JM

Customer Comments:

BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Eliel did a fantastic job opening up both bars today, and setting each floor up for success. Both bars sailed through brunch, with Chelsea using the downtime to prep bar with roll ups. 

Once Dylan and Natasha came in, I was able to get Chelsea to head back and batch a bunch of stuff to keep us stocked throughout the night. Natasha was able to hold down Trees solo until Ryan arrived. 

Both Chelsea and Eliel were cut shortly after the closers, Ashley and Ian, clocked in. JH

Natasha is really impressively reliable, so nice to see her come back into the fold this past month and get so up to speed so quickly. 

Ryan broke up the stocking tonight and he, Ian and Natasha shared the load and it made a world of difference. Something to keep managing after each rush so the stocks aren't quite so massive. JM

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Dirty glasses were left on mezzanine overnight. Just a note for the Bar email this week. JH

Prep List: Chelsea made Cinema, Paradiso, Fire Walk With Me, Lemonade, Mr. Fusion, Strawberry Lemon Slushie, and Verse Jump. I made Hibiscus and Simple Syrups. JH

This batching session has us healthy on all drinks; really great allocation of resources to get that done in the down time today. 

I made Strawberry gin and a Mansion keg that needs to be charged tomorrow. JM

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods (Valentina Hot Sauce). JH

Used the last rhubarb bitters tonight, will Amazon for this week. JM

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
