Manager Communication: Steady morning and afternoon, led by Everything Everywhere all day high ticket sales. Trees began to develop a bar crowd around five, which kept growing as the evening went on. JH

Great night service tonight, with strong rushes for dinner round Th1 & 2 and also a great late round Everything Everywhere. Late round movies and dinner round letting out gave us a few back to back great Trees pushes, which the team handled really well. Once the late round was in, I was able to cut to two bartenders and have enough coverage to batch with healthy stocks done behind both bars. Everyone stepped it up and did really well, and drink service to theaters was also very smooth. JM

BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Natasha opened up both bars with no issues this morning. Natasha really held it down in Lobby with no mid today (explained below in Sick Leave/Call Outs), and was able to get out of here shortly after Jenna arrived to close.  

Chelsea was an absolute machine cutting citrus this morning, and she and Tevon were a great help emptying out glass racks to clear space when the dishwasher in the kitchen went down.  Tevon and Ryan both did hefty restocks when they clocked in, and Chelsea was able to get out of here once Ian arrived. JH

Once Jenna was settled and Natasha did a big restock, we were also able to cut Natasha and run 3 up, 1 down for the bulk of service without issues. Major credit to Jenna, who did a great job in lobby solo. Tevon, per usual as the mid, did a huge restock and then Ian went back to batch because the rushes were done by 10:15 pm. Really nice flow and an easy to manage service tonight. JM

FOH Staff Observations: We had a couple of rings for impossible items to the bar (double chardonnay in a pint glass by Carina, she's new and we explained the reason why we don't do doubles) and Trees cocktails by Darius rung in the theater. 

Outside of those very small issues, service was better and smoother by MILES tonight than the past couple of weekends. We felt the support at the bar, managers were barely running trays and the flow of glassware was much better. Many thanks to everyone for adjusting and helping the whole team. JM

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Gabrielle is still out sick, so Lobby did not have a Mid today. JH

Prep List: I made Simple Syrup, The Past Whispers to You, Fire Walk With Me, Verse Jump, Bloody Mary Concentrate, and Don’t Call Me Shirley mix. JH

Ian was able to batch Firewalks, Lemonade and Mr Fusion. We will need Verse Jump tomorrow and maybe Paradiso. JM

Pay Outs: Quite a few today due to a Baldor order that did not come in (they were out of passion puree and when I closed out the order to deliver today, I missed the confirmation screen confirming that so the order did not go through. I will of course be more careful).

$197 - Lime and Lemon Juices

$17 - Lychees in Syrup

Baldor is slated for Monday, we are well batched for service tomorrow. Whatever we deplete, there should be batches made and clearly labeled that they need juice first thing when it arrives Monday. Tecate came in. JM

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper. Manager Communication: Slow night at the bar, but The WOrst Person opened pretty big which was nice to see.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great. Was able to get Jenn and Jo out earlyish.  FOH Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight, no issues on my end.  86ed / counts on items: Tecate Prep List : Should be all prepped up going in to tomorrow. We will probably need hot toddy at some point, but no urgency.  Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar was $10 short.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan did not come in this week, so we did not get tecate or high life. Our rep is following up.
