Manager Communication: Quiet first round, but the combination of second round Everything screenings, the first week of Volo coming through after the games, and a great crowd for Repo Man meant Trees was very busy from about six through last call. 

Customer Comments: Around 9:30pm, a guest came down to Lobby Bar and asked to close out her check early.  She was in Th2, which had already dropped checks, and she said that her server had already taken her card. 

I advised her to return to her theater, as while she a had a printed seat ticket, she told me she had changed seats from what she purchased.  Since the movie was so close to ending, and I could not look up her check by seat number reliably, I again advised her to return to her theater, which she did. She seemed to think that we ran the theater checks at the bar, and I believe that is why she seemed confused by the process of payment. 

I touched base with her server (Ryan) and he told me that he had ran her card and dropped her closed check off at her table with no further issue. 

BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Eliel both opened with no problem, with Ashley getting some Patio guests in the first two rounds. Eliel was able to get some batching done and help Jenna through the initial Repo Man service rush. Jenna and Ashley both closed the bars with no issue, and were helped along by big restocks while Eliel watched the bars before he left. 

Special Events? Volo had their first post-game hangout at Trees, and it went smoothly. Oliver stopped by and touched base before the games had begun, and we went over the set up and expectations. They will be leaving a bag with us, which will be picked up before the games begin on Monday and then returned once they’ve arrived at Trees. It is stored in the Bar Closet on the way to Mezzanine. 

It definitely brought an appreciated crowd to Trees, and we ran through all of the remaining Singlecut Pilsner cans. Jenna returned all remaining Turbo Waters to the walk-in.

Prep List: Eliel made Cinema Paradiso, Fire Walk With Me, Mr. Fusion, and Strawberry Lemonade. I made a Barry Lyndon Mix and Hazelnut and Earl Grey Tea Pink Peppercorn Syrups. 

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: A delivery of Hamilton and Denizen arrived before I did, and Gerard signed for it. 

Maintenance: The faucet of the sink next to the Th1/2 printer broke off during service today. It was added to the Maintenance Log, and is blocked off from service. 

Filmbot Issues: The card reader ran without issue today.
