Manager Communication: Trees had a great crowd from about four, all the way through 10:00/10:30. Even with a third-round slump at service bar due to Morbius playing in both Th1 and Th2, Trees was very busy throughout. Lobby Bar was similarly busy most of the evening.
BAR Staff Observations: Jenna and Jo handled brunch very well, and were able to get out of here once closers were in and everyone had eaten.
I swung Tevon up to Trees before Ashley arrived, as the crowd was very large and Jo was focused on doing a large restock to prepare for dinner rounds. Tevon has really been a big help on these weekend midshifts, deftly moving between bars as service demands. Similarly, Ian was a batching machine today, helping restock a walk-in that was left pretty bare after post-brunch restocks. Both he and Tevon were able to get out of here around 9:30/10:00.
Ryan was great in Lobby tonight, handling the end of the night solo, and helping Ashley do a final restock. Ashley handled service well and was a great help reorganizing the wines in the Trees lowboy, and in the back helping me restock and unbox wines.
This wasn’t noticed until later in the evening, but there was a fair amount of disorganization in the cocktail lowboy and Trees cocktail station. This is definitely something to bring up in the weekly bar email to ensure that all bartenders are communicating stock levels and no product goes to waste needlessly.
Sick Leave/ Call outs: Eliel felt very ill this morning, so Gerard cut him once he got to the building.
Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Twice during service tonight at Trees somebody took one of the grey rollies we use for glass racks. First, the one we place the empty glass racks on, and then the one we place the racks full of dirty glasses. I only noticed because I saw that people had begun to stack glass racks directly on the floor.

I replaced the missing rollies and then touched base with Jason and Jeannette to remind servers that if they need a rolly for their station, to check by the elevator bay or in kitchen.

All in-house OJ is stocked behind both bars.
There are several things we cannot batch more of until we get more product in: Cinema Paradiso (Denizen), Cool Runnings (High West Campfire), Mr. Fusion (Ojo de Tigre), and Strawberry Mansion (Rhubarb Bitters and Salers). The Cinema Paradiso, Mr. Fusion, and Strawberry Mansion have back ups in the walk-in.

Prep List: Ian made Verse Jump, Mr. Fusion, Cinema Paradiso, an Old Fashioned keg, a Negroni keg, and A Strawberry Mansion keg (needs to be charged). He also made a Fire Walk With Me without passion fruit purée. The only purée we had in house was still frozen, and packaged at 850g, instead of the usual 1kg. We figured it would be easier to measure out the appropriate amount if we just waited overnight for it to thaw and defrost.
I made Arbol Tequila, Genmaicha-infused Appleton, a Cool Runnings mix, and Hibiscus and Simple Syrups.
Maintenance: After hooking up a new Old Fashioned keg, the draught line stopped pulling any product. I tried detaching and reattaching the lines, opening and resealing the lid, and changing the keg being used, but nothing would pour. I checked the line, and all the gauges read as normal, so could not figure out what was causing the disruption.
We hooked up a new Strawberry Mansion keg later in the evening, and that had no issues with regards to pouring, so it may just be the Old Fashioned line, specifically. For the time being, both bars are stocked with Old Fashioned in store-n-pours.
Mobilebytes Issues: Stillwater Saison needs to have a Ticket Stub discount button added.
Blanton’s, Bombay Sapphire, and Kahlua all need buttons.
Filmbot Issues: As mentioned in the Brunch Blog, The card reader continued to be manual entry only for credit card payments the rest of the evening.
