Manager Communication: Pretty busy Sunday. Started strong with Grease sing-a-long and the Hong Kong series, and El Batman kept the numbers up and kept people coming to the bar. EL

Another busy Sunday night. Dinner round was very busy, with sold out Batman and Spider-Man screenings. Trees had a great crowd all night, which naturally dwindled after 10:30.  JH

Customer Comments: I gave a refund to a person for a single ticket. They asked when a movie was going to be over and I gave them the wrong time and they purchased the ticket.  When I realized I went over to them at Trees Lounge and told them the actual time the film ends and offered a credit or refund. The guest opted for a refund. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Jo and Natasha opened strong and Jenna and Tevon helped immensely as leads. They all worked very hard. EL

Ashley took the lead on guest service at Trees, and I brought Ryan upstairs to help Jenna deal with service bar during the dinner rush. 

Jo and Natasha stayed on through the transition into evening service, helping with restocks and coverage before heading out. Tevon was a great help batching, and helping out Trees at the top of the evening. Busy night all around and everyone really helped keep service moving. 

There was an issue near the end of the night at Trees. Ultimately, everything is fine, but it is a bit much to write out here. I will be in touch with Nick and Jesse first thing in the morning to fill them in, and we can move on from there. JH

Special Events? The Hong Kong series did great in theater 2 and Grease did great in theater 3.  We had a nice amount of people come to Trees after the Hong Kong series. EL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Tabs need to be started for everyone immediately after their first order. Everyone, staff and guests alike. EL

86ed / counts on items: Need more cereal. EL

86’d Biscotti Stout, Cutwater Horchata, Cardinal Bourbon Cream Soda, Zero Gravity Madonna, Ginger Beer (as a soda option, we still have several cans left to use for Dark & Stormy and adjacent cocktails). 

Additionally, we are out of Ancho Reyes, which means we cannot build another Paloma keg until we get more in. The last keg of Paloma was put on draught during the dinner round, so should last for a little while. JH

Prep List: Jo prepped everything; Firewalk, Lemonade, Winter Daiquiri, Blood Simple, Hot Toddy & Iceberg. EL

Tevon made kegs of Old Fashioned, Negroni, and French 75 (which needs to be charged tomorrow). A keg of Paloma needs to be made when we get more Ancho Reyes in. I made Simple Syrup. JH

Lost & Found?: Returned a credit card. EL

Mobilebytes Issues: Ford’s Gin is the new well gin, so we need to delete the New Amsterdam button and highlight The Ford’s Gin button as the well option. Additionally, the Ford’s button automatically highlights Cocktail (without the $3 upcharge) and the Mixer option does not offer a selection to choose from. JH

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
