Jenn / Eliel 2/12

Manager Communication: Mellow morning, with Spirited Away being the biggest screening of the early rounds. (JH)
Pretty great evening! Both bars had constant movement. Trees enjoyed a great rotating crowd today.

Customer Comments: Had a guest and her grandchild come for a Spider-Man screening, but the child was unable to get vaccinated due to medical reasons. I checked in with Emily before speaking to them, and Emily said so long as they had a doctor’s note signed by a doctor saying that the child could not be vaccinated, we could let them in.

Unfortunately, they did not have such a document. I explained the situation to them, the grandmother was very understanding. I gave them a refund and was clear that if they returned with a signed doctor’s note when visiting in the future, we would have no issue accommodating them. JH

Pretty great crowd in the evening.

BAR Staff Observations: Both Jo and Jenna did a great job preparing both bars for opening this morning. Ian was able to bounce between floors based on which floor had the busier theaters, and was a big help. JH

Tevon and Ryan came to close Trees and Gabrielle came for Lobby.  I kept Ian downstairs with Gabrielle as Lobby bar was very busy  on both sides of the bar.  When Lobby bar calmed a bit I had Ian batch, restock, close down the TH7 well and then I cut him.
Trees was pretty busy as well, and Tevon and Ryan did a great job juggling customers with service tickets. I jumped back there a couple of times to help.
Jeremy brought it to my attention that Trees was out of Roll Ups.  After their rush I had Tevon roll up.

FOH Staff Observations: Everyone worked well supporting each other through their rushes.

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Gabrielle said she would like general set up and cleanliness addressed at the bar meeting. Please speak to her for specifics.

86ed / counts on items:  86’d Tecate (Michelada/Dusk til Dawn).  Other Half is on a count.

Prep List: Ian made Lemonade and a double batch of Hot Toddy. I made Simple Syrup and two Bloody Mary Concentrates. Unfortunately, we are out of celery salt (I checked the Liquor Room and kitchen’s dry storage shelves), so both batches of Concentrate still need 8tsp of celery salt each (they are marked). JH

Ian batched an Old Fashioned and a Brooklyn Kegs.

Maintenance: The Blood Simple at Trees would not freeze this morning, due to the bubbler next to it running incredibly hot. The product in the bubbler was fine and refrigerated, as was the Fire Walk on the other side of the frozen machine.

We were eventually able to shimmy the frozen machine another inch away from the bubbler and, using a wall of ice-filled glasses, we’re able to get it to freeze up in the afternoon. Just something to keep an eye on for the rest of the weekend. JH

One of the track wheels on the middle lowboy door under the bubblers at Trees Lounge fell off.  It's cumbersome right now.  The fallen track is in a rocks glass right by the bubblers.
