Manager Communication: Pretty steady day. Not busy but not slow either. Lost Boys did okay today and Your Neighbor Totoro was well attended. EL

Great evening, busy in the theaters and a great crowd at Trees all night.  Dinner round at both bars was busy and steady, with ticket sales climbing both third and fourth round downstairs. A lot hustle from everyone in-house really helped service run smoothly throughout. JH

Customer Comments: Got called down to lobby for a vax issue. When I got there I was told that a man with kids didn't have the full vax card for one of the kids. When I got to the man he said it wouldn't be a problem because his wife was texting him a picture of the card. I said that was fine, and to just show the picture to the door person when he got it.  Later on, maybe 30 minutes later I was told that after I communicated with the man, he went to show Darya (Dasha) the missing Vax card, then began to question her nationality, and berate her for not being born here. General zenophobic behavior. By the time I found this out I was unable to find the man. I told Gerard about it as soon as I found out. 

Gave a refund to a Father and Child who weren't fully vaccinated.  EL

BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Jo were great opening Jenna then came as a swing at 2pm. She covered both openers for breaks. Jo was cut right before 5pm. EL

Tevon was able to get out of here after making sure Ryan was set for the dinner rush. Jenna, similarly, got out after the last big seatings were served their first round. 

Ryan held down a very busy evening in Lobby no problem, and both Ashley and Jenna were great upstairs. During the heavier service pushes, Ashley handled tickets while Jenna really stepped up and served guests while bussing down the bar and tables.  Really great work all around today. JH 

FOH Staff Observations: Kelsey, Miguel, Darius, Ryan, and Danny were all great during the busy service rush at Trees. Kelsey and Darius in particular were very flexible and helpful when it came to drink support. JH

86ed / counts on items: All bottles of Fleur de Mer rose are stocked behind the bars, none in the walk-in. JH

Prep List: Made Truffle oil Popcorn syrup and grapefruit syrup (I purchased the grapefruits early, peeled them right away, cut them in halves and served them with sugar on the cereal bar, which many staff members partook in.)

Tevon made Firewalk, Hot Toddy, and an Old Fashioned Keg. 

I also added celery salt to the bloody concentrate, so it's ready to go. EL

Jenna made a double batch of Nut Punch. I made the Genmaicha-infused Appleton 8 year (it is on the shelf below the half-full bottles for batching in the Liquor Room) and the Earl Grey Pink Peppercorn Syrup (in the walk-in with the other Trees syrups). JH

Pay Outs: $15 Grapefruit $9 Celery Salt. EL

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
