Manager Communication:
Had a decent night tonight at the bar despite the snowstorm.
Jenn and Chelsea were able to get us all prepped up before they were cut.
Everyone did a good job in service.

We had a woman come into the lobby with no mask or vaccine info. She seemed like she had some mental health issues. She refused to leave. She was asking people for money and being very confrontational with us. I told her that if she wouldn't leave I would have to call the cops. She told me I should call the cops then yelled some strong words at me. I called the police. She stayed for about another 5 or 10 minutes before I was finally able to get her to leave. The cops came about an hour and a half later. Gerard spoke to them, they didn't seem to be too concerned about it.
There was a couple in Trees sitting at the end of the bar near the entrance. They had been very lovely according to Dylan, but the woman took a sudden turn for the worse at about 10:30 and threw up on the bar. I had dylan start cleaning the bar top, and I went to get a porter to mop and do a thorough clean. I talked to Papa and Lenord and let them know it was an emergency and that I needed him up there with a mop bucket right away. I went and talked to the woman, who at this point was sitting on the steps up to the bar. I asked her if she was OK and needed me to call a car. She said she was OK, and that her friend had called a car. I asked if she wanted some water and she did, so I grabbed some. Her friend came out of the bathroom. He seemed totally fine and was trying to clean her and help her up. Lenord came up after all this went down. Still without a mop bucket. By that time Dylan had finished disinfecting the bar and had grabbed a mop bucket. He was mopping around the bar. Harry and I made sure the woman got down OK and out of the building. Lenord was still just kind of standing there, so I asked him to mop the stairs where she had spilled some water. It took a couple times before he understood me, but he did and then he went back to the kitchen. I went back to get him, because there was still vomit on the bar stools and I wanted to make sure everything got a deep clean, which he finally did. Meanwhile most of the bar crowd that we had cleared out. I know cleaning vomit is a very unpleasant job, but so is being next to vomit in a bar during a pandemic. I think we need to go over some emergency cleaning procedures with the night porter team.
