Manager Communication: Slow start but then Minions and the early Spiderman screenings picked up and we had a steady mid brunch round. The day continued to build as we went on, although Scream seems to not have a lot of draw. Spiderman still leads the pack, but Licorice Pizza, West Side Story and even Nightmare Alley all are performing well. Probably a lot of hesitant guests from over the holidays feeling more confident and catching up.JM

Pretty similar to last night, with a decent dinner round on both floors. A little bit of a bar crowd at Trees tonight, too (including Eliel’s new neighbors, who introduced themselves to Ashley and seemed to have a great time). JH

BAR Staff Observations: Good opens from Natasha and Eliel and they held down service well solo. Natasha K came in and did a big stock for Trees, with Eliel only needing a small period of support. Eliel batched before leaving with closers on the way. Nice, lean staffing for a good day. JM

Natasha K. was able to get out of here after restocking Trees and helping Ashley through the dinner round. The final round definitely slowed down, so both Ashley and Ryan were able to close pretty quickly at the end of the night. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Review table numbers and where they appear on tickets with runners, who still seem unsure JM

86ed / counts on items: We are 86’d Casamara Alta. 

Prep List: Eliel made Arbol Tequila, Lemonade, and a Paloma keg. I made Hello Sidney and Hot Toddy. 

Winter Daiquiri and Blood Simple could be made tomorrow, but both bars are stocked and ready for open. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor and Coke en route tomorrow JM

Ice machine filters arrived. JH

Lost & Found: A pair of black, wireless, over-ear headphones were left behind at a high top table in Trees tonight sometime during the third and fourth round. They were brought to the MOD Office. JU

Maintenance: Plumber was out today, sink in Th1 is good to go JM

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
