Jesse/Jenn 12/5
Manager Communication: Really good first round for brunch, with The Holiday leading the charge with decent sales for open. Relatively mellow day, with decent theater crowds, particularly up in Theaters 4/6. JH
Strong night tonight once we got through a slight dip in business for the second round. Once we hit the dinner and late rounds, things really surged. Lots of day of ticket sales and busy drink rushes to all theaters. 1/2/4/6 were tight again this week and gave Trees both a very busy bar from 6:30 pm through 10 pm and busy service ticket rushes during both showtimes. Gucci crowd drinks a ton! Very well handled today by all. JM
Customer Comments: Had an elderly couple ask for a refund for a screening of C'mon C'mon in Theater 6, as the elevator was broken. They were pretty grumbly about the whole situation, and said they had traveled quite a far distance to get here and so would not be making use of any movie passes. The gentleman, in particular, was upset that we had not posted on our website about the broken elevator. I let them know that we understood their complaints, apologized for the inconvenience, and refunded their purchase.

Gil sent an email to guests with tickets for showings today explaining the elevator situation to try to keep this situation from happening again.
Additionally, had a couple from Thater 6 C'Mon C'Mon screening come down to Trees to close out their tab halfway through the film. They said they were feeling unwell. When I passed off their closed out check to the server, Wyatt, he let me know they had been worried about sitting between other people during pre-show and that he had advised them to go to Lobby to exchange their tickets, as there were more solitary seats available. They declined, and sat through the first half of the screening before deciding to leave. JH
BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Natasha had great opens, and I was able to have Tevon cover both of them for breaks. Tevon was also a great help with restocking both bars and batching Firewalk. JH

Evening team was extremely solid tonight, especially down a bartender with Jo out. Natasha swung up and down to assist both bars strategically during the rushes and has come along really well. A very strong addition to the team. Tevon and Gabrielle were extremely effective upstairs, handling the consolidated and heavy service rushes with only a need for expo help and almost never needing me to hop back (except when they had a lot of guest facing business). Natasha and Tevon as swings were flexible and helped get both bars stocked again and again as the dinner round got busier. JM
FOH Staff Observations: Sarah B and Julianna were great support during service, and were great at communicating any thater needs or questions. Alex continues to be a big help delegating and organizing service bar support during any service rushes. JH
Hiring/Training: Jenna had her second training shift in lobby with Ian and is doing an excellent job. Bei, a new hire bartender, did not show today for her training shift.
Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jo Blackham called out due to concerns about a possible covid exposure, awaiting test results
86ed / counts on items: Finback, Barrier, Lambrusco

Went through a lot of product in the PM so batched up on the movie specials and more Firewalk. We will need Eyes of Ibad tomorrow. JM
Maintenance: The elevator by kitchen is not opening doors on Floors 1/2/3 so is currently out of order.

THe faucets at Lobby have very little water pressure this morning, but no other faucets appeared to be effected. JH
