Jesse/ Eliel 12/24
Manager Communication: A very eventful Christmas Eve. Pretty good bar crowd at Trees before the last Spidey.
Customer Comments: I helped Jesse escort a person out of Theater 1 because they did not have a ticket. The person with them who was sitting separately quickly joined him unprompted, I watched them turn the corner and leave.
During the last TH1 Spidey we got calls of people being disruptive in the theater. There was a big group of 11 but to my understanding only a couple of them were being drunkenly disruptive. Jeanette gave one couple in the group a warning, when we went back in with another complaint we asked them to leave, which they did not want to do. We told Ryan to drop their check which was at about $117. One of the drunk people needed to use apple pay, so when I saw Ryan escort him to the service area, I did not let him back into the theater. Jeanette and Jeremy were with me. He was drunk and kept saying drunk things to me, but I just kept asserting over and over again that he had to leave and no longer was welcome in the theater in a very straight and dry tone. I've been a bouncer in the past so I know to not fall for any taunting, not to escalate in anyway, and just keep insisting that he has to go. At some point someone (Jeremy or Jeanette) threatened to call the cops, which the guy welcomed so they called. Eventually I walked him to the lobby, stayed and watched him with Jeremy, while Jason and Jeanette went back to the theater, to get the woman who was with him, and bring down the guys coat. Once she arrived they stayed in lobby for about 5 minutes then left. I was told there was another guy in the group who refused the leave. The cops eventually arrived and spoke to Jeanette. They said they would try and wait till the movie let out if they didn't have any other calls. Please see general blog for more info.
BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea faced with a very slow lobby bar, decided to clean everything and keep busy with side projects, like making sure mobilebytes (aka Restaurant), had a button for every spirit we offer. Ryan and Jo rocked out Trees all day. Ryan was cut after the last Spidey rush.
FOH Staff Observations: The staff in Theater 1 during the above mentioned incident were stellar at communicating with us.
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Prep List: Batched a Paloma keg, hot toddy, fire walk, lemonade, and Ryan batched a Winter Daiquiri and Pete's Pint of Sugarcane.
