Manager Communication: The special screening, as well later round Dunes were fairly busy. Nothing out of the ordinary.

BAR Staff Observations: Very smooth service, no hiccups. Having Ian upstairs for closing was great, as I spent a chunk of the last round checking in with Natasha as she was doing her first Lobby close.

FOH Staff Observations: During the second round, there was an issue with getting trays returned to bar after drinks were sent out. Nothing that disrupted service, but would have been a service-slowing issue on a busier night. Lauren pulled a bunch from kitchen near the end of round, and said she would let newer servers know where they could be found in the future.

Additionally, a note I meant to include in yesterday’s blog, near the end of the night a man came in to the building and began chatting with Kelly. He began inquiring about what time Kelly was finishing her shift and when she would be working next. Ryan, working Lobby bar, noticed that he was making Kelly uncomfortably and began to break down the patio seating and bringing the furniture into the vestibule, and the man left shortly after.

I was told about this long after he left, and advised Kelly that should anyone ever make her feel uncomfortable or similar to never hesitate to reach out to a manager, or have Lobby reach out, regardless of how busy we are.

Hiring/Training: Shaunasia trained with Miguel tonight and both were great.

Special Events: The screening of Dogtown and Z-Boys went well, and we had a decent crowd at bar both before and after the show.

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: While cleaning the bubblers at Trees, Ian noticed a fair amount of build up around the edges of the lip of the machine. Just a reminder to get into the nooks and crannies of the machines when doing weekly cleaning.

Additionally, as we head into cooler temps, I’ve been reminding openers to make sure they are well-stocked with coffee, tea, and all related accoutrements.

86ed / counts on items: All lambrusco is behind the bar, none in the walk in or liquor room.

Prep List: Stock is pretty good, but I’m sure as the weekend kicks off we will have plenty of batching ahead of us.

Held off on prepping a back up Old Fashioned keg, waiting for the Rittenhouse to arrive so that we don’t run through the remaining bottles in house.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: As I was locking doors, Kelly handed me an invoice from Gun Hill that had been left with her. I left it in the invoice folder by Prep.
