Manager Communication: Every day is a Friday now once we hit the dinner and late rounds. Same as yesterday; a very slow and steady opening round and then sold out 1s and 2s for the dinner shows. Morricone Event drew a big sell out as did the two Dune showings, and French Dispatch and Bond filled out the bottom floors and 4&6.

I'm sure this will be covered extensively in the FOH blog, but theater 6 had No Time to Die cut out right as the feature started and it did not turn back on. We had some Food and Drink comps, I know kitchen was able to salvage some of the food but drinks had to be comped away. Luckily, it was very early on but we lost sales on 12 drinks. 

Customer Comments: No direct complaints fielded by me with regards to the Th6 issue. 

I did have two women come down for Theater 4 in the late round very irate that the screen was small and the theater was "packed". They did not know we were not distancing and were adamant they would not be returning despite me trying to get them to accept a credit. I finally agreed to provide a refund to the card on file when nothing else would suffice. 

BAR Staff Observations: A really strong day by all; Eliel and Chelsea found a very good flow behind Trees with a steady bar crowd and busy theaters, never needing manager help beyond rolling in glassware and grabbing some product. 

Natasha really is coming along, she asked me a lot of questions during down time today to proactively learn about cocktails or orders she might get and is reading up on bartending. A few busy shifts seems to be increasing her confidence. 

FOH Staff Observations: Outside of the busiest portion of the night in 4&6, drink trays never stayed still at the bar for longer than it took to build them. Big props. 

Hiring/Training: Jenn trained as bar MOD today, took on the walkie talkie for most of service and ran point on service bar very effectively. 

Special Events? Morricone Live Sound did a sold out show tonight of Night of the Living Dead. It rocked. Got a nice bar crowd before and after and lots of drinks in the theater.

Th6 Dune private only had 19 guests show, no issues.

Prep List: New special is good to go, lots of prepped product. Will need Firewalk and Ginger Lime tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Lime Juice was left off US Foods, some on the way from Baldor tomorrow

Maintenance: Need to reconnect the the soap to the wall at Trees dish machine

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
