Manager Communication: A slow theater service today, all eyes on the NewFest screenings and after party, which generated almost all of our business.

Great night for NewFest, first one that generated a bar crowd before screenings and the first substantial drink push we felt from the theaters from it. Guests for the fest are really great so far, highly appreciative

Customer Comments: Had a trio at the bar before Death and Bowling say they had never been here and were glad the fest brought them in. Judging by how many first timers we are likely getting from this, these late shows really made me feel excited for this exposure 

BAR Staff Observations: Ashley is very acclimated already, needed some light support during the NewFest arrival with lots of lingering guests in the lobby grabbing drinks and mingling. Bar Managers be aware that this area gets more traffic when movies load in because of check ins and rush.

FOH Staff Observations: Another good night for glass rotation by the servers

Special Events? NewFest Filmmaker Party was rocking from start to finish. Set up the center well and beer taps well for the service with lots of garnish stations and two bartenders with occasional support worked well for staffing. Energy was great. 90% of drinks sold were cocktails, remaining mix is on a tab Gil printed off that we rang up to track. One note for the future is we should, in situations like this where there is also volunteer staff from outside Nitehawk, have a meeting with them and their coordinator. Would have had a little more clarity and synergy when it came to their help with things like garbage, table clearing etc which some of their volunteers seemed to be doing but I wasn’t sure how much they were told to do

Prep List: Will need ginger lime slush and old fashioned

Maintenance: Bar low boy at Trees Lounge all the way on the left has substantial condensation accumulating at the bottom of the fridge
