Manager Communication: Similar flow to last week, brunch was slow to pick up. NewFest first showing was sparsely attended and they did not drink or eat a lot, but the showing went well and their staff was really good and effective.
Mid into dinner and late rounds picked up a ton, with nearly sold out theaters everywhere in the building. Zoe had transit issues and ran late right at the rush when she was scheduled in. Next week we should reflect this when we do in time and give a bit more of a cushion just to play it safe with the relief bartenders.
Drink rushes for Bond in particular were non-stop, especially in the dinner round theater 2. Guests went 3-4 rounds and it never slows. Good bar business throughout the day; lots of tables doing drinks and food both on the patio and in Trees Lounge. A busy service but under control.
BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Ivan came ready to slay. Great open.

Ian ended up on a very long shift again, right now business seems to dictate a need for a later in time for that swing. Our brunch rushes are very, very handle-able by the openers. Even pushing Ian back to 1 pm would have kept staffing tighter, what we should really aim to do with dinner being the overwhelming business driver right now is cut back on his hours as a mid and schedule in another Trees Lounge bartender.
FOH Staff Observations: Someone put four full glass racks on the floor behind the elevator, which seemed to be to get the rolly cart. I communicated this to Emily and Gil.

Major, major props to the server team tonight. They absolutely rocked it. Drink trays were flying out and never sitting in stations and glassware rotation tonight was how it should always be. Really great stuff.
Special Events? NewFest was a very fun open to the day and the staff was really good. Might just be that the first show was early, but the crowd was more here for the films than Nitehawk experience. Hopefully repeat guests will drive more business and eating and drinking as things continue on.
Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Review well setups for consistency, had to reorganize things mid shift and review with staff. Running stocking vs. big all at once stocking; let's shoot for the former, the building and business are just too big and unpredictable to wait on lulls.
Prep List: Lots of batches of cocktails ready to go and well stocked behind the bars. Will probably need to turn the rest of the ginger syrup into Ginger Lime tomorrow, but make the Pimm's keg first so you have enough Ginger Syrup for that.
Pay Outs: $37.01 approved by Jesse to Eliel for cocktail ingredients
Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Soda order from Coca-Cola came in. Baldor monday, we will need fresh ginger for the time being due to a shortage on Tulkoff purees.
