Manager Communication:
Earliest round was a bit of a dud, but the rounds picked up with the smaller theaters all selling well all day, and the big ones selling well for dinner and late night. Good bar crowd from afternoon into evening. The Spirit Awards kept people interested to hang around a bit after their films let out. Decent crowd after the last movies let out as well.
Openers were cut early, but everyone else got a good full shift.
We are out of Cocolero, but are batched up on BOP Margarita.
We batched the last of the Tin Cup for Bloody Tin. May need 1 more batch to get us through, can use 4 roses maybe.
Customer Comments:
There was a homeless man in the Lobby who smelled of booze. Ryan refused him service, and he made a little stink. He hung around a bit, and Cedric talked to him and he left.
Rebecca and Jenn had a gentleman at the bar at 12:30 AM order a beer, and they felt like it should be the last one they served him. He ordered another, and went to the bathroom. His wife also asked for him to not be served another. Rebecca politely refused him service, and he was not happy. He left shortly after.
BAR Staff Observations:
Was able to have tight cuts in the morning. Got some batching done and are looking good for all tomorrows parties. What costume will the poor girl wear.
FOH Staff Observations:
The flip after the dinner round was excellent in Theater 1. They got it done with plenty of spare time. Theater 2 was better than average. It was nice to see improvement with this as such a point of emphasis.
Special Events? Playing the awards show was great. We do need to start looking ahead and playing different events in the bar.
Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Frozens need to be refilled throughout the shift when we have split drinks in them.
86ed / counts on items: Other Half Double IPA (it's crushing)
Prep List: Firewalk, Jimmy Hates Watermelon (shrub is already made)
Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bank was $10 short. When counting, Vanessa informed me that she found a $10 in the stack of $20's. I recounted the bank, and that seems to be the mistake. Not sure when it was made. We took from over/under.
Mobile Bytes:
The card reader at bar terminal 3 froze around 12:30 AM. I reset it and it worked fine.
