Jesse/Rebecca Sunday 11.3

Manager Communication: Pretty slow brunch overall; event added some good business to the bar but otherwise theatres were on the slow side and service bars were pretty light on action. Annie gave us a decent push, otherwise free to focus on batching, cleaning and stocking. Easy day that allowed for productive shifts and quick cuts.

Customer Comments:
(Rebecca) A woman tonight was upset when I told her that we could not honor her movie ticket from 10/26 that she claimed she did not use. I explained to her that exchanges must be made the day of, and she then asked me to prove this policy to her by pulling up the Nitehawk website on my phone. She seemed to understand our policy by the time she left.

BAR Staff Observations: I spoke to Antonio after he forgot to go bus the mezzanine after Danielle told him to and he agreed. He said that he forgot, and I told him there was far from enough going on to justify him losing track of a simple task like that.

Special Events? Amy Brill party was low impact and without issue. Amy started a tab, had her guests drinks and a few food items put on it as well as the cake and ice cream fee. They decorated and set up the mezz and it looked real cute for the party. One of the game machine was down, I made up for it by doing a $15 pay out and giving them credits to play the working machine.

Bartenders were told by Danielle to go up and bus the party and did not, Antonio told us he forgot. I pressed them to go bus and put them on a regular schedule making passes up there and they stayed on top of it for the rest of the party.

Prep List: (1)Negroni and (1) Silent Era keg

Over/Short on Banks: Hi Res B was short $17. I know Vanessa had a check mess up that I had taken care of earlier in the night, but nothing was mentioned about a credit transaction that was accidentally closed to cash.

Maintenance:
(Rebecca) Apparently, the mats did not get cleaned last night. Jesse mentioned it to me when I came in, so I spoke to the porter tonight to make sure they were taken care of.

It was brought to my attention at the end of the night that the upstairs women's restroom was completely out of soap and toilet paper which made us believe that the bathrooms had not been checked in a while.
