Manager Communication:
Family meal was great. Thank you kitchen!
Really busy from the Jump for the 4 o'clock rounds. The 2:40 Irishman had 2 different guest incidents, covered below.
The dinner rush at the upstairs bar was crazy. It was great to have all 4 bartenders on, as the big theaters let out, and the drink pushes were lasting very long. Everyone handled it great. Really strong team on tonight. I cut Susan after the 8:15 rush settled and the bar cleared a bit. Cut Ryan and Ian after the late rushes slowed and restock was done.
Ryan had a bit of time to get back up on batches for tomorrow between the dinner rush and the late rush.
Good bar business til late too.
Customer Comments:
Right when I got here Kylie informed me that there was a strange guest in Theater 2, who was upset with his popcorn and with the fact that people were laughing in the Irishman. She said it just so we kept an eye on him, and sure enough, he came out of the theater in a huff, and I got a call. He was angry that people were laughing, he said he wanted to just pay his check and get a refund for his ticket. He said he would have tipped if the server hadn't jumped out of the theater to tell him he had to pay (Tommy stopped him to tell him he just had to pay his check). He proceeded to rant about the laughter as I tried to get him to pay as fast as possible and out the door. I told him that he may have a better experience watching it on Netflix in a few weeks, and he agreed. He said that laughing at that movie was like laughing at Schindler's List. His name is Dylan Sanchez Seletti. My personal opinion is just to keep an eye on him as a problem guest.
The other incident was a drunk man in the theater. Ryan and Gil interacted with him.
BAR Staff Observations:
Really strong night all around. Good communication, had two at service and 2 at point during the craziest times of the rush, and restocking during the little down moments.
FOH Staff Observations:
During the long dinner rush, glassware started being hard to find, as well as trays. I stressed bussing especially for the long movies, but still didn't get glassware flowing well enough. When the Theater 1 flip happened, there were 7 racks of glasses that came back to be washed (Ryan talked to the theater after).
Prep List:
Them Apples Syrup, Them Apples
