Manager Communication:
Really busy all day, but well staffed at the bar.  Nick had to jump back for a bit during the 4 o'clock push, but as we got more staffed it was fine.  The new film schedule allows for our usual ups and downs to get batched, restocked, and glassware.  So nice to have normal length movies in the big theaters.

The schedule is good for pre and post theater business, and now that we are hitting the busy season, may be worth mentioning to staff that when it is busy, they should find a table.  I reminded some staff tonight, as the big theaters were letting out. 

Bathrooms are going through stocked items quickly, so let's keep an eye on them and get porters stocking them.  Also, keep an eye on the surrounding areas as picking up paper towels is constant right now.

Customer Comments:
Had one woman in the theater order a paloma at the bar and then be confused as to why she could not in the theater.  The server suggested the Pink Panther, but I will add the reminder to bartenders in next weeks bar email.

BAR Staff Observations:
Really good communication and teamwork.  Got the openers out decently early, with Ryan getting a lot of batching done.  Got Susan out after the dinner rush, and kept Ian on until the late rush died down.

FOH Staff Observations:
Really good drink running.

Theater 2 did not do enough bussing during the 4:15 round.  We were overly low on glassware during this round, and at the end, 7 racks of glasses came back dirty (175 individual glasses).  I spoke to Kylie, and she spoke to the servers and the next round was much tighter.

Theater 1 was killing it on bussing and glassware rotation.

Trays were hard to find at times, but as I kept reminding the servers that these had to rotate well, the later rounds were better.   Just have to keep training and reminding.


Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Making sure to stock everything between rushes, frozens

Prep List: lemonade, clarence worley, maybe hibiscus syrup, otherwise just the usual maintenance.

Lost & Found?: Gold earing in lobby, in MOD


Filmbot Issues:  Around 9:40 PM, a group of 3 tried to buy tickets to lighthouse.  They kept clicking seats, timing out, changing their mind, and trying to click other seats.  Filmbot showed that there were many open seats, but did not allow any to be sold saying they were already booked.  On the bar kiosk, it said there were only 2 seats available, but clicking into the seat screen, it showed many open seats.  This happened to me once before, so I knew that after 5 to 10 minutes it would reset, and I just told them to wait.  The other time it happened, the guests were doing a similar thing on the kiosks.  Not sure if there is anything to do about it, and I am pretty sure it has only happened those two times.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
