Jesse Monday 9.2



Manager Communication: Really nice and steadily busy day. We had a seriously almost dead even flow of business throughout the day, lots of families in the early rounds that were the slowest, but everything after that picked up with a mix of every demographic. Theatres were really busy with tight but manageable staffing, lots of support from everyone in management got us through pretty unscathed. Bar kept a crowd throughout the middle of the day, definitely slowed at night. Late rounds were not that late; the latest going in at 9:15 so things tapered off and we made smart cuts.

Customer Comments: Had a guest show up 5 minutes after the elevator broke down and exchange his tickets for a gift card due to not wanting to go up to the third floor.

Had a few complaints of long wait times in theatre 7 when Topher was running it solo with back to back 40 person shows. He had support throughout from management, but two separate tables complained about long waits for drinks, comped them some popcorns and the drink rounds.

BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great on some busy shifts; Rebecca and Jeremy handled upstairs no problem, no need for support at any point. Dylan got a bit of a surprise pop for the late round, spent 20 minutes behind the bar with him but no major issues; just me handling the lots and lots of guest questions.

FOH Staff Observations: Topher was wonderful during training and very sharp, but he struggled a lot in 7 today. He had huge crowds for two shows and drink run support, but once he got flustered and behind he got pretty weeded. Ran drinks and handled some guest blow back for him and he dug himself out.

 Prep List: Rebecca prepped a ton tonight after a busier than expected day, we'll need a Silent Era and Kung Fu keg tomorrow but we have full ones of each hooked up to start and I wanted to get her out of the prep room to cut Jeremy at 9:30 pm.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Chef's Warehouse Wednesday, Coca Cola Thursday.

Maintenance: Called McGlynn for the elevator being down again, they will be out tomorrow. Had to reset fan #9 on the roof; it was setting off the fire panel, once reset it didn't give issues again.

Mobilebytes Issues: HH pricing came up automatically for a short period, we were able to publish changes and fix it and then ran around voiding HH drinks and re-ringing them at proper prices.

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper. Nick Friday 2/11

Manager Communication: Slow night at the bar, but The WOrst Person opened pretty big which was nice to see.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great. Was able to get Jenn and Jo out earlyish.  FOH Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight, no issues on my end.  86ed / counts on items: Tecate Prep List : Should be all prepped up going in to tomorrow. We will probably need hot toddy at some point, but no urgency.  Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar was $10 short.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan did not come in this week, so we did not get tecate or high life. Our rep is following up.
