Manager Communication: Busier than expected today with the first round and dinner round increasing by twice their starting numbers. We should be wary of cuts across all departments; while we are definitely slowing down, we have a very high % of business generating from walk ins in the summer. Held it down no problem, the floor was a bit short but the opening servers absolutely killed it. Spoons was hectic but handled without long tickets at the bar, it drove a good deal of pre-show business to the bar as well and I had to hop back for a brief period.

Customer Comments: Some guests upset by the long line up time for Spoons (discussed below and in the FOH blog) but overall, a very understanding crowd.

BAR Staff Observations: Ryan and Tevon did an excellent job balancing Spoons volume and some bar business.

FOH Staff Observations: Jo, Corey and Emily deserve huge props for their job opening today. We got slammed with tight staffing and they were great; communicating to Gerard and I when they needed help and handling big influx of guests.

Special Events? Spoons, Toons and Booze had a very rough start. There was an issue getting the AV working on the screen and we had to hold the line while we figured it out. Dylan P was able to get some generic pre-show on the screen so that I could get guests in the theatre at 9:40 pm, 10 minutes after the show was scheduled to start and 25 minutes after we were supposed to seat. Guests drank at the bar and seemed fine, but once we went past the start time I made an announcement that we would be seating momentarily and focused on getting some media on the screen so that we could seat. Shortly after we sat the theatre, we figured out the AV issue and managed to get things running. Guests quickly got into the spirit of the event, Rachel tray'd waters up at the bar and built trays so they could run straight in and we quickly got drinks in hands. Passes are going out with their checks at the end.

Prep List: Ginger Syrup, Firewalk, Alfredo and My Booze. Ryan is the prep tomorrow and knows what to make.

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
