Nick Thursday 7/4 (Fourth of July)

Manager Communication: Another very busy day. We were better staffed then yesterday and drink service was good. The first round upstairs would have been too much for William but I was able to help out. Next year we will staff better for the holiday, I added some notes to the Holiday recap.

The server for the Hi-Res tvs was down, Dylan doesn't know how to work the system yet. He is going to reach out to Kris when he gets in in the morning and see if he can get it running.

Customer Comments: We had a disabled regular come in tonight for Late Night in theater 4.  She is a very nice lady and was really disappointed she couldn't see her show, but there was no way we could get her up there without the elevator. I refunded their tickets, gave them passes to see Yesterday in three, and yellow passes to come back and see late night next week. They were understanding.

Several interesting customers tonight. A couple older ladies drunk and passed out in theater 3. Two more people passed out in 7 when lights came up (toy story!)  none of them were served here There were a few non customers that I had to kick out of the lobby. We also had a declined Dine and Dash that was a little suspicious but they paid with cash.

BAR Staff Observations: Great crew tonight, the bars were pretty empty after the crazy understaffed day yesterday. We were able to work through another very busy day and get product levels back up to pars for the weekend. Shoutout to William who crushed Jaws solo (I helped I swear) and then crushed prep.

Staff Observations: The newer porters need some training on the building. They don't seem to know where the bathrooms or Janitor closets are. I talked to Stew tonight and he is going to make sure they get better tours. So far they are just being shown around by other porters. I had to ask Amadou 5 times today to check the bathrooms before it was done properly and it took about three hours.

86ed / counts on items: Manhattan was not able to make their delivery yesterday due to the holiday volume, they rerouted for tomorrow. We 86ed tecate today. It should be here first thing in the AM.

Prep List: William spent a couple hours after his shift getting us caught up on batching. Rebecca is going to come in and work a prep shift tomorrow afternoon since we weren't able to prep the last couple days due to the early starts. William has a list for her of everything he didn't get to, so we should be good going in to the weekend.

Maintenance: Palco is coming tomorrow morning to try to get the AC working better in the bar and lobby areas. It was up in the 80s again today.
