Jesse Sunday 7.28
Manager Communication: 4s and dinner round were very busy, and we also nearly sold out a 10:00 pm Once Upon a Time! A Sunday rarity, but it gave us great business and energy late. We got some bar crowds throughout the day, a bit lighter than yesterday. Post-dinner round was the heaviest bar crowd. The audience for this movie loves to drink, lots of drinks both in line waiting and then in the theatre again tonight. Managed to also get some really solid batching done and clean the heck out of the place after another mad weekend.
Customer Comments: A lot of the crowd for Once Upon a Time tonight was exceedingly positive before and especially after. I had lots of folks at the bar really pumped about the 35mm showing, remarking that it looked great and they hope we do a lot more.
BAR Staff Observations: Rebecca batched us up to solid pars. Antonio made the error of pouring ginger/lime slush into both sides of the machine and we had to run down to lobby during a small rush in 4&6 for mules so that they were properly frozen. He understands the process of dedicating refilling frozens one side at a time.
FOH Staff Observations: Traffic to the bar to pick up drinks tonight seemed lacking compared to recent days. Jovani and Lauren L. were amazing about it, otherwise we had some long ticket times that Ryan and I ran. Also, it was very apparent tonight that a lot of servers were picking up lots of flags rather than getting drink orders at their greet and using their iPads, as our drink rushes were sometimes as late as 20 minutes into pre-show and we had full trays going up 15 minutes into the feature.
Hiring/Training: Vanessa was back again and got time on FilmBot, MobileBytes, made a stock list, batched with Rebecca and went over garnish guide and drink specs with me before leaving.
86ed / counts on items: Low on Sauv Blanc, pulled the last Rose for back ups, out of Combier and could not batch Firewalk.
Prep List: We need tonic syrup and Firewalk; depending on when we are expecting combier, I can grab some tomorrow to get us a batch to get by for a couple of days. Machines are healthy full but we are out of back up.
