Jesse Monday 7.22



Manager Communication: Above average business for a Monday with the weather driving in a lot of business for the already well sold dinner round. We had a steady start to the day with a lot of work ahead getting things off 86 and batched back up after a looooong weekend. Bars were fine, Susan actually got a huge push to HiRes after the 7s let out and the weather was awful, but that was the only time either bar needed support tonight. Otherwise, handled.

We had several struggles with the rain that I'm sure have been blogged about. Nothing that infringed on any guest experience, but the flood in theatre 5 was the most substantial issue. I shopvac'd it while Gerard, Rachael and the porters mopped and dried the floors. We took care of the floors, some stored speakers may need attention.

 Customer Comments: Had a couple at the bar here for the first time blown away by the changes and menus. They stayed for two rounds after the having full dinner at the movie. In general, we had really positive people today.

 BAR Staff Observations: Dylan worked through his injury and his shift for tomorrow is covered. He held it down well, cut him as soon as we were able. Eliel needed no support downstairs and opened and closed really tight. Susan also closed very well.

FOH Staff Observations: Jack the new porter is excellent, I walked him through how to clean the bar and mats as they got ignored overnight and he did a great job. Also jumped in to help with the theatre flood.

 86ed / counts on items: Kinda Dry

Prep List: Got a ton of prep done today, we have plenty of back ups and full machines and un-86'd everything. We will need tonic syrup and ginger syrup.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor tomorrow, Coca Cola Thursday, Big Geyser Thursday

Maintenance: Leaks.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
