Manager Communication:
Very busy Wednesday.  In addition to the LSC, we sold stronger than we have on a non-holiday Wednesday for the dinner round.  Also getting a good crowd of drinkers in general.  But especially for LSC.

I had to jump behind the bar for a bit when theater 2 was coming in and all the LSC folks were drinking, and once more when the big theaters let out.  Ryan had to help downstairs bar as they were mostly sold too, and I was caught upstairs.  But we made it all work and service bar went off well.

Game night drew a crowd of 10 or 15 and drew in a couple of the crowd from theaters for moments.  It is growing, and folks are starting to make it a routine.

I did not get a chance to finish the orgeat, as we got slammed.  Will do in the morning. 



Customer Comments:
Had an angry customer approach the bar from theater 1 angry that his bank statement said he had been charged twice.  I checked and it was a voided transaction for 19.05.  I explained that the transaction had indeed been voided and that it would be back in his account in 2 to 3 days, and we gave him the void slip, but he was angry that the void slip does not have any information.  I gave him our email, and told him to email us if the money was not returned in 3 days.

BAR Staff Observations:
 Really strong job by  Malka, Rebecca, and Dylan.  They did great with the crazy volume.

FOH Staff Observations: Theater 1 got a bit wonky as it was such a short show for a sold out theater.  More in MOD blog.

Special Events: LSC Lonely Planet.  It would be nice for the shorter events to be able to build in some extra time at the beginning to allow for the kitchen to have a bit extra time before check drop.  There were some problems caused by the food not getting to the tables by the time we needed to close the checks with such a short show.

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
