Manager Communication: Busy all the way through tonight with lots of ticket pick up due to weather and just generally strong business. We had some close show times in the theatres, specifically upstairs that gave us a constant rush of tickets for nearly 2 hours. Had to hop back only a couple of time to make sure that bar guests were taken care of, very strongly handled by Susan, Dylan and William. Cut Ryan downstairs after 2/3 of the last showtimes went in, had a lot of second beverage sales in the theatres and Antonio got a nice push as well, nothing he couldn't handle. Cut to 2 up at 10:00 pm as well, tight closes on both floors. Decent bar business throughout the day at HiRes.

 Customer Comments: Had a guest in theatre 3 take his phone out and when Kevin told him to put it away, he responded rather loudly "ok, whatever". Brought him his check early, got him to admit that he was rude and I told him that we would ask him to leave if there were further issues. I intercepted his two friends coming back from smoking and told them that if he was in any way rude again, we would ask them all to leave. They apologized for him.

Had a group in Theatre 7 that come in with DnD for Dead Don't Die, a showtime that they were 50 minutes late for. They transferred to Secret Life of Pets and kept asking about the nature of how we charged the cards. We rang all of their food and drink Don't Make, tried the card and it successfully went through so we fired it. We had another issue where one guest, the oldest, was trying to order multiple drinks with a pretty clear intention to pass them around. Idris told him that he would not bring him drinks that he intended to give to minors. He tried to order them at the bar, I told him we would only make one at a time and then asked for ID. He didn't have it so I told him that we wouldn't be serving them. Then they made a passing comment at Idris calling him some expletives and he was not comfortable continuing to serve them. We told them that they had to leave. The oldest in the group apologized, they had just gotten their food. He went back inside, and then the group came back out and left, eating as they left.

BAR Staff Observations: Strong crew on tonight, no issues executing service. Very nice to see Susan and William bussing and cleaning and also delegating to the other bartenders before I had to to get things done.

 FOH Staff Observations: Really, really prompt drink running and support from everyone tonight.

86ed / counts on items: Westbrook on count, about 12 in house.

Prep List: Nothing needed to get started tonight, we had some good dedicated batching time.

Pay Outs: $14.15 for Cake for a staff birthday

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
