Friday 5/24 Benjamin

Manager Communication: Busy day, strong early and late rounds with a really good dinner push.  The bar definitely felt the close seatings, but handled it well.  William set the pace, and drinks were being run well in the theaters.

Lots of drinking tonight, between John Wick, Booksmart, and even the late Aladdin.  Good bar crowds all night, before and after most shows.


Customer Comments:
There was a group of 4 gentlemen before the 7:25 John Wick, two of whom had a few shots and beers.  Beau noticed that they were a bit intoxicated to begin the movie, and alerted the MOD's.  I cut them off before receiving any drinks in the theater, and later in the show, a customer ahead of them complained about their noise.  Michael escorted them out, they paid their checks and left.  I addressed it with Adriana, and she said they did not show her signs of intoxication besides being loud.  I stressed that she needs to feel comfortable to tell people no more and alert a manager, and she said she does.

At the 8:45 Endgame, we had a group of 4 in Theater 5, 2 of whom were asleep.  Michael tried waking them to no avail, but by the credits they were awake.  They tried to walk out on their tabs, but we caught them before they could go.  As they were paying their tabs, we found a pint of Jim Beam Honey under one of their seats.  Randal told them that was never ok.

BAR Staff Observations:
Adriana did a great job jumping out and bussing between seatings without being prompted.  There was a bit of a lack of planning with restocking between rushes and when Ryan was cut, but I addressed it with everyone, and they got more on top of things.   A little too much was needed during the dinner rush.

FOH Staff Observations: Brett and Sam did a great job of drink support in the big theaters during the rushes.

Hiring/Training: Antonio had his last training today, and saw the Lobby from open to close. I checked out with him and he is all set to go for Monday

Prep List: Posted, should have enough bloody mary concentrate to start.  I didn't notice it was low until late in the night.  Will need to be prepped.
