Manager Communication: Busy all the way through today. Spoons went smoothly, lots of families for the early shows and drink sales coincided with that. However, once we hit the 4s, 7s and late rounds the dynamic shifted big time. Decent bar business in between shows, although we never built much of a crowd. The lines, when they dominate the entire bar for movies like this, definitely make a difference in how people view the bar, and we don't get the kind of bar business we get on other busy weekend days. Showtimes went really well from a bar perspective; drinks went out quickly and well, we slowed when the theatres got backed up and for the first time in a while we never hit a snag with glassware. Cut openers when the 3 o clocks got in, cut the swings when the closers got in, went to 2 up and 1 down after the final round and re-routed the Lobby at 11:45 pm.
BAR Staff Observations: Ben, Dylan and Jeremy rocked it out upstairs; huge hits for the large theatres were handled without issue. Malka and Jeremy batched and got us set up for tomorrow very well, and after a long day still turned out some really great behind the scenes work.
FOH Staff Observations: Max Rams was the MVP today as bar runner; he ran quickly, built trays well and committed himself to theatres running straight to seats when drinks built up in service stations.
Beau had a rough shift in theatre 2. He fell behind and mislabeled several flags. Randall and I handled it and got food to the right tables.
86ed / counts on items: Nitro Coffee; I hooked up the keg and checked the lines and everything is kosher but for some reason, we can't get it pulling.
Prep List: Had to infuse more aperol, will need to make a Blow Up tomorrow. Otherwise, we made FWWM, Tethered, Cool Runnings, Mae West and Alfredo after a very busy day.
Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor en route for Monday, lots of recoup after a busy weekend. No 86 risks.
