Nick and Ash Saturday Brunch 4/13/19



BAR Staff Observations:  Jay had his shift up for tomorrow and no one could take it, so I cut him, Ash is down to stay late and we can move Grace up for support if the gospel brunch gets busy.

FOH Staff Observations: There were two complaints at the bars today during the first round from people who could not get service in the theaters, one from theater 7 and one from 4. Managers helped both guests and they left happy. One stopped in the lobby to thank us for how we handled it, but obviously it would be better if servers were more attentive in their theaters.

Hiring/Training: Ash trained as bar manager today. We covered everything in the checklist and she has floor manager codes. She will have one more train with me next weekend.

Special Events? Her smell Q&A was well attended. It looks like the timing won't work out tomorrow but if it was possible to move it to a bigger theater I think it would do well again.
Talent has been coming in to theater 1 through Q&As up the service hallway and through bar prep, it makes more sense to me just to bring them up the elevator though.

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Let's go over discount codes and ticket exchanges with all the leads

Maintenance: We put a please use other door sign on the front door that is sticking. Blessing and I both tried to fix it, but I guess we aren't very handy.

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
