Manager Communication: A busy and eventful night following a steady but never super busy brunch. Nice weather still seems real exciting for people, and they're opting to be out and about rather than in a theatre for now. Once the temperature drops and the sun goes down, all the folks out and about find their way here, and we got substantial walk in business and last minute sales for the 7s and late rounds. Even the 10:15 and 10:30 sold reasonable well.
Had several serious guest altercations tonight. One gentleman had his card for DnD declined and when asked to provide alternate payment got instantly confrontational with Gil, myself and Michael the security guard. He got on the phone with his bank and the authorization approved, but he continued to threaten to fight members of the staff and I told him he was not welcome back. We also had a gentleman complain that we harassed him because he was asked twice to provide printed tickets that he did not have both of and then asked to turn his flashlight and phone off. Escorted him out. Wild night.
Cut to two bartenders up and one down after 9:15 when our late shows were all that were left and very low on ticket sales. Tight staffing today but no issues, kept the Lobby mid a bit longer to help with the late push and it helped immensely, no issues like last week.
Customer Comments: Had a gentleman at Lobby bar compliment his service in theatre 7 from Jo and Nikki.
BAR Staff Observations: Ash did a great job on service bar tonight, as did Dylan.
FOH Staff Observations: New server Sarah was very communicative and helpful with drink running.
Prep List: Lots done today, mostly to prep for a busy shift but in general we're in good shape for cocktails and NA. Had to batch some Howard Hughes on the fly, Ben took care of it while Ash covered.
Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Nothing for tomorrow, Geyser for Monday and Coca Cola for Thursday.
