Manager Communication: 
Cooking with gas. 

Evening was busy and everything went super smoothly. Becca absolutely crushed this evening as the closing MOD after Jared left. Answered every call in the theaters and somehow had time to help run glassware and trays while I was helping with the floor for Trivia. Incredible work - made everyone's lives infinitely easier. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Duan is going to be fantastic. Tevon, Greg, Charlie and Darius all showed up with their game faces on tonight. Trivia was crazy busy and nothing ever felt overwhelmed at all. Great work. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Siete is clutch at the pass as per usual. - IP

Hiring/Training: Onboarding extravaganza.  

Knibbs is a pro, which was immediately obvious. He trailed Darius on the floor for Trivia (which Lauren said he might be keen to take over - which would be dope) and by the third round he was taking orders and running drinks. I didn't have him stay through the close, because I think it will be a more beneficial learning experience to close one on one with a lead on a night where that can be the focus (not Trivia). Made sure to get him a copy of the theater cocktail spec sheet and the trees lounge cocktail spec sheets (w/ photos) and also the copy of the allergy grid in his manila envelope with his other onboarding materials. He seems to dig the vibes here, and it would be great to have him be a part of the team, as he just exudes competence and hustle. - IP

Had Darius fill out the new hire observation sheet - will update in training doc tomorrow when I get a second. - IP

Special Events?
Trivia was a 22 team masterpiece. Darius was locked in tonight - he always does a great job when he is responsible for teaching another bartender anything. Love that about him. Greg and Tevon crushed the full bar. Charlie held it down in lobby with some weird guest questions and lots of unruly kids. Excellent work by the team all around - especially our prospective new hire Knibbs - dude is aces. - IP

I think we offloaded most of, if not all of the Cosmo during trivia tonight. - Woo! - IP  

Prep List:
I'm first in tomorrow and will figure out what needs to get made. Will get us all batched up to enter the weekend. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
ordered a new ice bucket for Trees so they have two for start of the day.-LB

Maintenance:
The lobby gate is stuck open again (for the bar, not the outside). I've noted it on the maintenance doc. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication :  Pretty good steady morning which ramped up when the spider hit the big ones. EL Second half of the day was similarly busy, with first floor having a slower last round while Spider-Man kept the upper floors busy through close. JH Customer Comments :  A lot of frustrated customers trying to buy what looked like available seats for Spider-man. I think this will be the last day with this problem. I explained to everyone I encountered what was happening and they seemed to understand by the end of the interactions. EL BAR Staff Observation s:  Natasha was about 15 minutes late. Once she got in she recovered the lost time quickly. Then the morning was pretty easy.  Ryan was early!  I pushed Tevon back to 4pm since Isi wasn't coming.
