Manager Communication:
Less busy morning than yesterday, but the Brooklyn Half Marathon has flooded the park with people. The weather is staying dry (for the time being) but the influx of people in the area will likely lead to good walk-in sales. Staffing levels are great - Wyatt and Rebecca on MOD, me at bars. Let's rock. - IP

So I don't know what happened to the elevator side door to the lobby but it is now automatically locking. I closed the door after Darius was done so it wasn't left unattended when Michael was doing rounds. I will open it for Junior, but someone should investigate why that is happening. We also need a replacement key for the lobby bar key set so they can open the projection closet for L&F and the liquor room if needed.-LB

It felt like glasses were constantly in short supply as they were out being used but as one of the servers put it: the glassware is the blood and we are the heart pumping the glassware throughout the building. So very poetic.-LB

Customer Comments:  Had a ticket mishap at Trees when a tray fell so we put a rush on the ticket, but it got messed up. Customers got their food quickly thanks to Ruben, and I comped their tots and an Old fashioned, they were very cool about it.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:
Greg and Tevon opened up. Greg adjusted well from his last Sunday and made sure to get a jump on glassware early (Matthew Soler style!) and made it easy to jump in and help with the service pushes. Tevon had a chill open in the lobby - but noted that we need to get more airpot lids for the coffee urns. - IP

Trees got real busy towards the afternoon and boy howdy was it good to see Danny traipse in. Dude is just killin' it. - IP
 
Everyone was in the zone. Duan and Danny settling in, making some corrections on protocols here and there but nothing major. -LB

FOH Staff Observations:
Caleb is a man of few words, but many actions - all of them very helpful to everyone he works with. He is always so reliable. - IP

Hiring/Training: Danny took and scored a 100% on his new hire quiz.-LB



86ed / counts on items: I think when the smash burger ends up on a count Sunday night, we can agree the weekend was a busy success. -LB

Prep List:
Made more Bloody Mary mix, O-Ren and FWWM. Kegs can wait til tomorrow unless we go on an unprecedented, 2015 Kansas City Royals-esque run. - IP
I have quite a batch list for tomorrow.-LB



Maintenance:
Echoing last night's note about the lowboy doors in Trees - they are EVIL. - IP
I will work on a service company that is local or try Dio.-LB

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication :  Pretty good steady morning which ramped up when the spider hit the big ones. EL Second half of the day was similarly busy, with first floor having a slower last round while Spider-Man kept the upper floors busy through close. JH Customer Comments :  A lot of frustrated customers trying to buy what looked like available seats for Spider-man. I think this will be the last day with this problem. I explained to everyone I encountered what was happening and they seemed to understand by the end of the interactions. EL BAR Staff Observation s:  Natasha was about 15 minutes late. Once she got in she recovered the lost time quickly. Then the morning was pretty easy.  Ryan was early!  I pushed Tevon back to 4pm since Isi wasn't coming.
