Manager Communication: Busy day all around here. Definitely felt a bit of a hurting post-Matthew cut around 8:29pm, since he was an early mid due to the events early in the day. Team did great.  Charlie and Gab prioritized a very busy and demanding guest facing lounge.

I don't see an event memo for the Oscars event, but Shay emailed me to ask for a "coupla small beers" as a prize during the event/ I told her we have PBRs we can spare. -LB

We broke out the last box of 16 oz cups from when we switched over. This was the first time since we switched Froco to 16 oz cups we have been strapped during the day. We have zero back ups. I would recommend getting 2 or 3 cases from Webstaurant, lmk if I can go ahead and get those. -LB

I have yet to have time to make, find or hang the no vaping signage for Trees.  Rebecca was hanging post-shift and she thought some teens were smoking or vaping in the bathroom. I checked it out, but I was thinking we should hang this signage on the back, brick wall so people that are seated can see the signs. Most of the signs are out of sight from the seating areas.-LB

I found a decent solution for the dollies that are lurking around Trees. I put one under the steel table, and put two under the fold out table upright. They kind of stay neatly put. So this is a good interim fix.-LB

Customer Comments:  A lot of complaints about talkers in the last round of Scream. I issued some passes to a couple that was upset about how nothing came of the complaints, I explained the difficulty. I did recognize the woman as someone who has had issue before so I will be on the lookout for her complaints going forward being somewhat manufactured. However, I do understand it was a rowdy crowd.-LB

BAR Staff Observations: 

Scheduling Matthew as an early mid was definitely the move, as the building opened with a lot of theaters filling up right at the start.  Greg was a champ down in lobby, and Matthew and Natasha flew through the Air Bud + ST&B service pushes with ease.  Flip times between first and second round left plenty of time for both bars to restock + reset, and for Matthew to knock out some FroCo and Iced Tea. JH

Of course after I erased the Over/Short thing, Trees was short $4. Gab was sad. But it is okay.-LB

FOH Staff Observations: Tons of heart tonight from all the servers and runners. Couldn't do it without them. -LB 



Special Events? 

Private event in Th2 went smoothly for bar. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 

The folding table that ST&B use to store their cereal outside the office during events is officially out of commission.  While folding the legs, the slightly-broken legs evolved into fully-broken legs.  Jeremy brought it downstairs and left it in the dumpster. JH 



Prep List: 

Par levels are looking pretty good.  Keep an eye on film special batches, in case either jump in sales, but both bars are pretty well stocked.  Whenever we get a chance, we should make back ups of Black Manhattan + Mr. & Mrs. Collins, but we will definitely get through the rest of the weekend with what we currently have in the walk-in. JH Will also have to make Old-fashioned as we are crushing it this winter.-LB

Simple Syrup, 3 Iced Tea, The Reinvigorator, 3 Lemonades (not nearly enough for what we will need), double batch Menta cream, Irish blend.-LB 

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

Still waiting on our Manhattan order, if we can follow up with them on Monday. JH 

I looked to reach out to the rep and that delivery will be coming Tuesday, since Wednesday was past the cut off for them to get us beer by Friday or Saturday.-LB

Maintenance: The old fashioned keg leaked all over the walk-in after it got changed tonight, I pulled it off and tightened it. -LB

The Threes draft line is now leaking over the top through the flow chamber. I have yet to hear back from Draft choice from Monday when I called them.  The evil twin line needs a lot of work to be changed as well.  I hope to be here when they are here this menu change to emphasize that this apparatus needs to be changed out.-LB

While Coca cola did fix the secondary gun at Trees, then main gun is a culprit again. I will wait a few weeks before I ask them back.-LB
