Manager Communication:

GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB

Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP

Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB

Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB

I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB

Ordered 2 cases pint glasses, used Webstaurant credits. -LB

On Tuesday I would like to add a shelf for the trees cheaters and trees specific ingredients. So we can have areas in Trees lowboys designated for Tea, Bloody mix, lemonade and an area for batches. Tonight during the event I made more of a cocktail because the team told me they needed it only to find more later. This could be helped by keeping counts on the POS so we KNOW there is more. This is also exacerbated by the door on the lowboy at trees being barely movable. They cannot keep looking for things and not finding them because there is no system for containers that are all identical barring masking tape.  When it is busy and they are slammed they cannot be wading through a sea of Tupperware. -LB

I am going to promote a good happy hour for tomorrow I left directions for the NSF cocktails on the white board.-LB

The soda guns at Trees were being difficult again with the Diet Coke. Might be time to call coca cola to come by. -LB

I stored the anti-fatigue mats for the service pass behind the doors near trees. I will order grommets and put hooks up so they are easy to put out of the way for anyone that wants-doesn't want them there. For bar prep I have just been taking them in at night's end but will make hooks for them somewhere as well.-LB

Everyone's best friend Martha Walker was here to see the No Budge Shorts this morning, and she was awful to everyone she encountered. She was unnecessarily rude to Bryan in the lobby and referenced an email exchange with Rebecca about her tickets. Wyatt and I checked it out and printed out the tickets referenced in the email - however those were tickets to a later showing of The Friend. She became even more indignant - I calmly explained that we would get it sorted out, but she was having none of it. I went to check back with Wyatt, and she stormed off into theater one, saying she was taking her seat. I was able to find her tickets to No Budge in Filmbot and went to drop them off to her in the theater before there was any confusion with the servers. When I found her in the theater, she had her ticket confirmation pulled up on her phone and was looking for her seat...? (if she knows how to access the email on her phone to find her seat, she has a ticket, and therefore seems to be manufacturing a problem) I handed her her ticket, and she aggressively snatched them out of my hands and sneered at me. I tried to apologize for the misunderstanding and explain the mix-up - but she stuck her hand in my face and walked away. This woman's behavior is completely unacceptable. She was utterly disrespectful to everyone with whom she interacted from the moment she walked into the building. Just wanted to note this here - not sure if there's anything we can effectively do aside from fully 86ing her (which frankly, I am in favor of - but understand the potential headache that causes), but I just really don't think we should allow guests to treat our staff that way. - IP 

BAR Staff Observations: Maya was pitching the idea that the opening bartenders have a tough time riding out the long day starting at 9am until family meal(which is usually a little later than 5 on the weekends due to business). She suggested having those openers have crack at any left over brunch items. 

Really great teamwork today during the dinner rush/transition. Everyone really listening to the directions I was giving.  

Hit the bar team working the party with tokens. They rolled with it all and cranked it out.

Darius also rocked the lobby with a smile.  Cranked it out for the first floor theaters so they didn't need to be routed and then helped close Trees after I cut Patrick.-LB

Maintenance: Lowboy doors in Trees-LB

Mobilebytes Issues: I think having a tab for Trees lounge and Lobby bar with well-liquors or have them on the speedbar. It took me a minute to hunt them down in liquors, obviously I am not super familiar with the layout, but I do think it is useful for speed of service at Trees for sure. -LB
The bar team was annoyed that they could not keep the private Trees tab open on one iPad and use the other iPad for the Trees lounge. I think this is what Patrick meant. Obviously this does not come up a lot. -LB
