Manager Communication:
All of the Good Morning, Mr. Breakfast! ingredients are in the walk-in by the alternative milks. Everything is in a bottle with a pour spout. Strawberries in the cambro are already washed and cut. There is about a quart of egg whites prepped that are good for service tomorrow. The bacon Chef Russell prepared was more than enough, I wouldn't anticipate needing more than 20 pieces tomorrow. AB
The rain definitely helped drive ticket sales up during the dinner and late rounds, with most theaters filling up, with It Lives Inside in Th2 being the only notable exception. Pretty solid service pushes at both bars, with many theaters selling out their showings on all three floors. I don't know if we want to look in to potentially moving It Lives Inside out of the larger theaters during this coming week, but maybe something to consider. JH
Customer Comments:
There was a gentleman that was in Lobby requesting a refund for the Nitehawk recipe book after the TH1 PeeWee's Big Adventure showing. He had mentioned some complaints to Maya regarding his experience, and she offered to get a manager to talk to which he dismissed. After the refund was processed, he said he still wanted the book? He then proceeded back up to TH1. I was downstairs and asked Maya to point him out to me. He came down book-in-arm and was trying to leave and I kindly called him over and explained that since we processed a refund for the book, he couldn't leave with it. He was yelling at this point and explained that he told Maya he "wanted the fxxking book". I said that we clearly had a little miscommunication issue and apologized, and explained I could fix it very quickly if he met me back at the filmbot terminal. He then slammed the book on the bar and yelled that he didn't want it anymore and hastily left. I later found out that Gil was retrieving this guest a book in the theater and in the minute it took for Gil to get the book and return, the guest was already at Lobby initiating the refund process. Guest information: Leslie DiNicola/lesliedinicola@gmail.com/order ID: 5dpbg5z ABThere was a guest in the one showing of Passages in Th5 who was very upset about having to sit in the front row, and said that by selling her the ticket she chose we had robbed her. She was adamant that she would never return, and was in fact in the process of moving out of the city, so I just gave her a refund and wished her the best. JH
Had a guest come down to lobby and tell Matthew that while she was using the ladies' restroom at Trees, several men had come in and out of it, one of them trying to strike up a conversation. Matthew walkied for Dwight, and I immediately went to the restroom. When I got there, the restroom was empty, and the door was propped open. I checked in with the bartenders at Trees to see if any guests had reported anything going on in the bathrooms, or if they had seen any guests who were acting off, but they had not. Ultimately, I think some men may have entered the ladies' restroom because the door was propped open and they just went into the first door they saw, without reading the sign. JH
BAR Staff Observations:
BAR Staff Observations:
Overall, a very successful 1st PeeWee day. Natasha took the lead with the Good Morning, Mr. Breakfast! cocktail while Lydia handled everything else at the pass. CatVideoFest 2023 jumped up fast, keeping us steady all morning. Tevon came in and breaks were taken before he batched. Lobby had a lot of traffic and complicated situations, but Maya really stepped up to every challenge and handled it all with poise. AB

FOH Staff Observations:
In Lobby while Maya was helping a guest, Grace interrupted by shouting her name from the drink pass and pointed at her TH7 drink tickets (ticket times were not high). I'm not sure if we need to reiterate that etiquette at the pass is just as important at Lobby as it is Trees, especially when guests are in earshot. AB
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Darius grabbed the last box of Trees old fashioned glasses from the liquor room at the end of the night, as our stock behind the bar was pretty low. We should order some back ups this week, as three of our Trees cocktails on the fall menu will be served in those glasses. JH
