Manager Communication: A Haunting in Venice has been selling out in lobby, just something to keep an eye on. AB

BAR Staff Observations: First round was busy with The Dark Knight and TMNT, and Maya was phenomenal. Natasha prepped all morning for both bars, and batched a bit once Miguel got in.  Both brunch openers were cut before 5. AB 

Customer Comments: A customer came to the bar from theater 6 as the last round was getting out and asked to speak to a manager. I went over to speak to him, he was immediately very agitated and rude. I had to calm him down a couple times before I was able to understand the situation from him. He had left a $20 bill on a $13.50 tab and was not given change. I apologized and let him know that I would get his change for him. He said he had already gotten it but he had to ask the server (It was Barry). He said he considered it stealing and would sue the business on Monday. I let him know that he was welcome to, but there was not anything else I could do for him, as he had already gotten his change back. Jared and I followed up with Barry and let him know that he always needs to give change back on cash purchases. -ND


86ed / counts on items: Cold brew, Y Tu Mama Tambien (need Nixta), French Dispatch (need apricot puree for syrup). There is no Days of Being Wild or calamansi honey in the walk-in, but both bars are well stocked with 2 quart backups each. AB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
