Manager Communication:
Definitely saw a lot of walk in ticketing sales for the later rounds of Bottoms and The Equalizer 3, which kept service bopping until around ten.  We are definitely in the slower times, but should keep an eye on staffing and batching for weekend nighttime service.  Had a small group come in before an event in the park, and that definitely brought a great group through Trees from about 8:30-9:30. JH

BAR Staff Observations:
Openers were off the floor by the time I got in, and the remaining bartenders were very flexible in anticipating service needs.  Tevon floated between Trees and lobby during the dinner round, based on theater times, and helped each bars with restocks before heading out.

Once the last Th1 Bottoms dropped checks, Ian went down to lobby to help with some later round service and covered for Jeshua to grab a break and restock.  Jeshua closed lobby without issue, and Gabrielle and Ian closed Trees shortly after the last movie got out of Th5. JH

FOH Staff Observations:
Servers in the last round Th1 Bottoms spoke up about feeling stretched a little thin due to cuts.  That was coupled with the fact that the service push for Bottoms is definitely sustained throughout the majority of its runtime until check drop.  However, I was able to run a few trays to assist, and service was not noticeably impacted and no drinks had to be refired. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes
We ran tight on pint glasses a few times tonight, but never anything that negatively impacted service.  I think it may have been a combination of busy theaters with tight staffing, as well as people being a little less proactive about bringing racks down to kitchen/Trees since we weren't working with nonstop sold out screenings.

Eliel, in the morning, can you take a look at the glassware behind the bars and in racks and break out another box of pints for service if necessary? JH

Special Events?
Around eight we had a group come in for a meet up before a silent disco event.  I looked it up online, and we were listed as the meetup spot.  I spoke with the organizer, who had spoken with some bartenders during the week, and he was a very nice guy who said the plan was for the group (about 40-50 people) to meet at Trees, grab a drink, and grab their headphones, before heading into the park at nine.

It was a very nice group, and brought a great pop of business to Trees on an otherwise quiet night.  I asked the host to reach out to me in the future (although this may be their last event of the season), and he said that he would. JH

Prep List
May have to do some batching tomorrow once mids come in, but the walk in and both bars are set for the opening rounds.  We will need to make more Pink Goes with Everything, and the glitter should be arriving sometime tomorrow, according to Amazon. JH

Pay Outs:
$100.00 (DJ) JH
