Manager Communication: Lobby has seen a pretty big increase of walk-in ticketing sales the last few days, so that is definitely something to keep an eye on when you have a solo bartender downstairs.  Trees had a couple good crowds throughout the night, mostly fueled by the Park Slope Parents group and the New Strains afterparty.  The crowd cleared out by eleven, with only staff at Trees once we got to last call. JH

Customer Comments: I noticed Yuengling bottles in Mezz, brought it to Jenn's attention who spoke with the PSP group in Mezz. PSP stated it was a group of three men playing pool, and Tevon clarified three men did go up to Mezz without purchasing anything separate from the PSP crowd.  The Mezz was pretty crowded because of the parents, so the bottles only came to our attention well after the pool players had left.  Just something to keep an eye when checking Mezz.  AB

BAR Staff Observations: Having the extra body today up at Trees definitely helped with the dual events, as we were able to get both openers out of here while those events were kicking off, and Ian was able to get a fair amount of batching done to help with restocks.  Gabrielle closed lobby without issue, and Ian helped Tevon with a pre-close before he clocked out. JH 

Hiring/Training: Ashley had her first day of management training, and was able to stick around until all first floor theaters were routed.  Nathaniel walked her through routing, as I was at lobby with an ill guest and EMTs, which is described in the Manager Blog. JH

Special Events? Park Slope Parents organizers arrived around 6:30 and were able to carve out some space for themselves by the projection screen.  Ashley checked in with them upon arrival, and they seemed fairly comfortable navigating the space and ordering.  They now have little laminated table signs, to more clearly direct their guests.  The crowd seemed pretty evenly split between Trees and Mezz, and was pretty mellow, mostly one and dones, and not much food ordered this time.  JH

The afterparty for New Strains was very casual, but brought a great push to Trees for about an hour after the Q&A concluded around 9:30. JH

Prep List: We definitely need to make more apricot and basil syrup.  We should make another keg of Watermelon Gin & Tonic once basil syrup is done.  We are low in-house on Neon Demon, which should be batched once Singani arrives, but both bars seem pretty set with their current stock. AB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Out of black lava salt for Y Tu Mama Tambien, Nick might be able to bring some over from WB. AB

Maintenance: The lowboys at both ends of lobby bar are having condensation build up issues, resulting in puddling inside the lowboys.  We may need to have Dio come out to check them. JH

Gabrielle let me know that the water faucet for guests at lobby bar has been getting stuck recently.  Added to Maintenance. JH
