Sunday 8/27 Eliel & Jenn

Manager Communication: Pretty smooth afternoon. Great ticket sales but didn’t really translate to bar action EL

Most theaters sold out this evening, but coming off the heels of a Barbie month, all hands were prepared for theater pushes.  Additionally. most guests were not ordering as much as people have been, so service was busy, but never overwhelming.  Trees definitely had a small crowd during the night, but most everybody cleared out shortly after the last movies started. JH

Customer Comments: Plenty of newcomers today, so I spoke with and prepped bartenders about the need for clear communication and patience today, particularly at lobby, which they were all able to do. JH

Had some guests who were pretty upset about shows being sold out and tickets not being available fifteen minutes after showtime during the last round, but they all left without issue. JH

BAR Staff Observations: Great opens from Natasha and Maya. Leads were great and we were able to get openers out by about EL

Service was never overwhelming, but very steady all night.  That, coupled with plenty of new faces with questions, kept both bars very busy throughout the day and night.  Great work across both bars tonight.

Miguel and Darius ran lobby without issue, with Miguel getting out of here a little before the last movies sat. Matthew and Jeshua each took turns stocking Trees, while Jenna crushed theater service solo for the majority of the night.  I know she is generally only in for one shift a week, but she is consistently on top of movie specials and menu changes, so service never once took a dip.  Matthew got out of here once the dinner round had settled, and Jeshua got in one last restock and got out of here a little before eleven.

Both Darius and Jenna closed each bar without issue.  Just a reminder for tomorrow, as we had discussed earlier in the week, frozen machines were not cleaned tonight.  They will be cleaned by tomorrow's closers. JH

FOH Staff Observations: Jeremy has really settled into service and was helpful with running trays for theaters other than his own this evening.  Honestly, everyone up in Th4/6 tonight (Cate/Isobel/Jeremy) were great, always keeping ahead of prebussing and drink service.

Jose and Alex M. have continued to be great about communicating theater needs or assisting other theaters or bar at the service pass. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Vlad asked that we order more D batteries for the air fresheners. JH

86ed / counts on items: Ooze is on a 1-count, and will then be 86'd forever. JH

Prep List: There is no Days of Being Wild, Fistful of Dollars, or Lemonade in the walk in, so they should be made when possible, but both bars are stocked for open. Also, a keg of Watermelon Gin & Tonic, when possible, as it continues to sell exceptionally well. JH

Pay Outs: $15 OJ, $12 Jarritos

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor & US Foods tomorrow (Jarritos arriving with US Foods). JH
