Sunday 8.13 Eliel/Edgar



Manager Communication: Busy Sunday overall today. Once again, barbie filled out our big theaters with TMNT and Oppenheimer filling out their screenings as well. Trees lounge had some guests, but for the most part they were just waiting for theaters to open up.

Customer Comments: Had a guest who alerted us at Trees today that their kid vomited right outside Theater 1 by the steps leading downstairs. After Vlad and I got on it to get it cleaned, the parent alerted us that there was even more inside the door leading to the TH1 service station. 

Timing was not ideal as it was as the theater was letting out and it created a bottleneck as guests tried to leave the theater. Eliel and Wyatt came by to help direct traffic so Vlad and I could get it cleaned up ASAP. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Bar staff hustled today. Again, since numbers seem to have leveled off, service never felt too hectic. The morning crew got our product batched and we were able to cruise through the evening. I was able to get everyone out by their out times, if not a bit earlier. EA

FOH Staff Observations: Everyone ran like clockwork today. There were no idle trays sitting at the pass and everyone was keen on supporting each other. Positive attitudes all around even when a bit weeded. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: We need to figure out how to pull the Trees lowboys out. They need some TLC real bad from spills. EA

Prep List:
We'll need a Watermelon G&T at some point, but no rush as we just tapped one. We could use one more coco Lime to round out the walk in, but other than that we're sitting pretty flush. EA

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: I placed an individual order with the kitchen (I don't have an authorized login) on Baldor for some prep items that we needed to get us by until Jenn is back. Items to look for:

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
