Manager Communication: Another mellow evening, with Trees getting a decent pop of guests and theater service around 8:00pm.  Several people hung around Trees this evening, but the crowd was mostly gone by eleven. JH

BAR Staff Observations: Maya was able to get out of here before I got in, and Matthew was cut right after a restock and Tevon's arrival.  Overall, service was very smooth at both bars, with the whole team well seasoned from the past month of Barbie.  Miguel got Lobby through dinner and restocks with Jeshua, and was out of here around eight, with Darius sticking through the final seatings and resetting Trees before heading out.  Both Jeshua and Tevon closed each bar, and cleaned frozens, without issue. JH

FOH Staff Observations: Alex mentioned that he caught a guest vaping in the last round Th6 Talk to Me before the movie started.  He told them that they were not allowed to do that in the theater and the guest then left and did not return.  Just wanted to give a heads up, in case the guests emails or calls in the future. JH

Prep List: We should definitely juice tomorrow, especially the peeled oranges, which we can then use to make a batch of Fistful of Dollars.  Captain Blood and Watermelon Gin & Tonic each kicked tonight, so we should make backup kegs sometime before the weekend.  

We currently cannot batch Neon Demon as we do not have enough Singani in house (a partially full bottle at Trees).  Both bars are well stocked and we have about four quarts in the walk in, which should get us through until it is delivered.  We could potentially make a quarter batch using the Trees Singani bottle, need be. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor & US Foods tomorrow, as well as more glitter from Amazon for the Barbie special. JH

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
