Monday 04.24 Jenn/Edgar



Manager Communication: Slow start to the day with a big push at Trees in the evening for Volo and No Budge. Had a good overlap for a brief second until the No Budge crowd went into the theater. They stayed at Trees until midnight after the film let out. 

BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Eliel were well into their opens by the time I got in with Eliel prepping fresh juice for the bars and Ashley setting up Trees for the night. After some batching Eliel was cut for the night and Ashley stayed through No Budge getting out and getting an initial drink in everyone's hands. Tevon held it down at Trees for the rest of the night with some brief support from myself. Jenna ran the lobby bar and closed without incident. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: I moved some unopened peach and ginger purees down to Kitchen's freezer, if anyone needs some for future R&D. JH

86ed / counts on items: Out of egg gummies. Replacements coming Wednesday. I think the label wasn't accurate when it described how many pieces per serving. EA

Prep List: We are pretty stocked on everything, however there is a batch of Firewalk and a batch of Hail Satan that require passionfruit to complete them. The PF was still frozen even by EOD and just needs to be added when thawed tomorrow. EA

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor arriving tomorrow, US Foods arriving on Wednesday.

Passionfruit puree is temporarily on backorder, so I placed an order on Baldor which should arrive Thursday.  In the meantime, the back up we have should get us through until then. 

NuFoamicide was ordered on Amazon and just needs approval. JH

2lbs of egg gummies coming on Wednesday via Amazon. EA

Maintenance: The metal cover over the lightbulb in the walk in came loose and shattered the glass covering. 


It looks like it wasn't the right thread to begin with as it wouldn't fasten back on. I got the rest of the broken glass cover off and let the metal cage on top of the prep lowboy. Will have to look into figuring out the threads to order a replacement tomorrow.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
