Manager Communication: Quiet night up until the opening of our Shorts Festival!  Lively crowd in Trees for the opening night party, which kept bar very busy all the way up until last call.  JH

BAR Staff Observations: Everyone really crushed a very busy open bar at Trees today.  Sean came upstairs right before the shorts screening started, and prepped the bar for service with Matthew and Tevon.  They were all able to hold down a very busy Trees crowd once the screening let out, and Gabrielle was able to swing upstairs to offer assistance after ten.  Really great work from all bartenders tonight, especially with both openers pulling longer than usual weeknight hours.

Once the event was over, Sean did a restock and Matthew cleaned the bubblers, and both got out of here after that.  Gabrielle went downstairs to finish closing Lobby, and both she and Tevon closed without issue.  JH

Special Events? As noted above, the opening party at Trees was packed and a great addition to the evening.  Eliel was great as DJ, and the crowd loved the drink offerings.  All of the drink specials were popular, with Singles Retreat definitely leading the pack. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: There are some empty Fever Tree boxes in the Liquor Room that should not be thrown out, they are for Gabrielle and she will grab the rest of them on Friday. 

Also, some of the tables, chairs, and stools that were moved downstairs are chilling on the Stroller Parking landing.  They will be brought upstairs tomorrow.  Both of the tablecloths were dirty after the event, so they were dropped with rags.  We are out of black tablecloths and will need more this weekend. JH

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper. Nick Friday 2/11

Manager Communication: Slow night at the bar, but The WOrst Person opened pretty big which was nice to see.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great. Was able to get Jenn and Jo out earlyish.  FOH Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight, no issues on my end.  86ed / counts on items: Tecate Prep List : Should be all prepped up going in to tomorrow. We will probably need hot toddy at some point, but no urgency.  Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar was $10 short.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan did not come in this week, so we did not get tecate or high life. Our rep is following up.
