Manager Communication: Easy start to the day. Received a few more deliveries and followed up to get our coffee machines maintenenced. EA
Pretty busy evening with a busy Trees and busy theaters.  EL

BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Darius had quiet openings and as usual go to prep and side work right away. EA 
Ian closed Trees and Matthew closed lobby. Ashley batched a bit and got out pretty early. Darius stayed late as it didn't relent until after 10:30. EL

Hiring/Training: Tashi was in for her trail. She spent an hour and split her time at both bars to get a feel for it. Her attitude is great and is eager to learn. 

Special Events? After Hours had a great crowd before and a few after the film. They kept tickets flowing from the theater as well. EL

Prep List: F this Franchise needs Cherry juice. We're down to our last Spice Spice Baby.  EL

Pay Outs: $100 maintenance on coffee machine. 


Maintenance: Ciro was in to fix the coffee machines. According to him it looked like it was just the temperature probes that needed cleaning after all and only charged us for the service. The leaking seemed to stop, but we should keep an eye on it regardless.

Per his explanation, because the probes were calcified and needed cleaning, they were not reading the levels correctly and allowing water to keep filling periodically which would then get pushed out of the bypass valves. 

If the leaks persist, he told me that we should call him to change the valve and seals as well. EA

Subsequently, the charge only came to $100

The front door at the far left (looking out) wouldn't lock. I tried to lock it for a while and finally used a padlock from the garbage corral per Matthews instructions. The key to the padlock is hanging in front of the front door key. EL

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper. Nick Friday 2/11

Manager Communication: Slow night at the bar, but The WOrst Person opened pretty big which was nice to see.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great. Was able to get Jenn and Jo out earlyish.  FOH Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight, no issues on my end.  86ed / counts on items: Tecate Prep List : Should be all prepped up going in to tomorrow. We will probably need hot toddy at some point, but no urgency.  Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar was $10 short.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan did not come in this week, so we did not get tecate or high life. Our rep is following up.
