Sunday 10/19 Eliel y Edgar



Manager Communication: Pretty busy morning with the St Patty's Day parade party. Great crowd. Then it stayed medium busy for the rest of the afternoon.  EL

Dinner round was steady and kept the bar entertained for most of the afternoon into the evening, but then just dropped off completely with minimal people staying at Trees. EA

BAR Staff Observations:  Andrea opened lobby and held it down all morning into the afternoon. Natasha was a little late opening Trees and Ashley was a much needed mid.  Ashley was an hour late due to traffic and street closures so I gave her a written warning as is policy after 30 minutes late. Tevon came in at 1:30 at which point Ashley got some batching done. We were able to get Andrea out right after she finished batching. EL

I was able to get Ashley out earlier rather than later when the closing crew was in and situated. By doing so I was able to move Tevon upstairs to help with a steady dinner rush and to help Ian with Tashi's tree training. After the dinner rush was over and the bar was restocked, Tevon was cut early. Ian and Tashi closed out Trees and were able to go over both closing procedures and the frozen machine breakdown. 

Maya was a champ in the lobby and was able to run the bar and ticketing with minor help needed. Once again she continues to request help via walkie when needed. I ran her through the lobby frozen machine breakdown and cleaning. She is now versed in both Lobby and Tree's machines. EA

FOH Staff Observations: Sam was clutch during the event. Anything we needed he was there. EL
 
Hiring/Training: Tashi Day 4. We had time to run Tashi through Tree's cocktails and a busier Trees dinner service. Ashley was amazing at taking the time and running Tashi through our food menus and mods alongside allergens. Ian ran them through service, general cocktails and gave sound advice at what to look for during/after service. Finally they learned how to break down the Trees frozen machine. 

Ian filled out the training binder for day four and I had Tashi sign the Bartender Description and the Tips Information Sheet. Both are in my mailbox and I'll scan and email tomorrow. EA

Special Events?: Bobby Carroll's St Patrick’s Day celebration was another success. We learned a lot from last year and made sure to integrate it with today's event, including offering to-go coffee cups at the end. EL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: I'm seeing more and more fruit flies at opening. Let's make sure we're wiping sticky surfaces and crevices and we're using the anti fruit fly goop. EL

Prep List: Down to the half keg of Spice Spice. Not quite sure we need another one just yet. EA

R&D comp checks: $32 for working on the John Wick special. 

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Waiting on Nu-Foamicide. It's sitting in Amazon limbo waiting to get approved. EA

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Friday 7/4/25 Gus/Lauren/Ariel NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Sunday 4/6/25 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
