Sunday 03.12 Jenn/Edgar



Manager Communication: Solid Afternoon and dinner service. We had a good amount of sales in all theaters plus the Oscars Party. Not a lot of heads stayed in Trees, but those peeps in the theaters can drink. It was nonstop all night with them. 

Knives were taken to kitchen for sharpening. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Both Andrea and Natasha opened both bars without issue, with Puss in Boots and School of Rock being the busiest pushes for each.  Once Tevon got in, I had him head up to Trees to get Natasha through the second round in the big theaters, and Ashley batched everything and anything that needed to be batched.  Once Ashley was able to get back behind the bar at Trees, Tevon moved back down to Lobby and Andrea was able to get out of here. JH

After Jenna came in for her close, I brought Tevon upstairs again to prep for the Oscars party and did a quick preshift with the teams regarding allergens on the cocktails. They handled the brunt of the red carpet party and after everyone was well seated and Sean had the lounge under control, Ashley was able to focus on the nonstop flow of drinks with assist from Tevon. 

After Tevon was cut, Sean took care of the lounge guests and eventually closed us out. 

Jenna was a champ at navigating the lobby on her own. All frozen machines were cleaned. EA

FOH Staff Observations: Everyone in TH1 was firing on all cylinders. Nothing but praise for the team. I also had a small drink preshift with them regarding drink allergens and to help with removing the googly eyes from the collins glasses before putting them through the wash. EA

Special Events? BEST OSCARS PARTY

All the unused product was neatly put into a bus bin in the walk in by Ashley. 

Prep List: More Diamond Dame will need to be made once we get in more Combier Pampelmousse. JH
Nothing else is very pressing. Maybe a bit more holy mountain to fortify the horchata? EA

Pay Outs: $39.96 (Tart Cherry Juice) JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Received three boxes of pint and rocks glasses. JH

Maintenance: Just wanted to note that the former problem corner under the dish machine is now a dream to keep dry! EA

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper. Nick Friday 2/11

Manager Communication: Slow night at the bar, but The WOrst Person opened pretty big which was nice to see.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great. Was able to get Jenn and Jo out earlyish.  FOH Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight, no issues on my end.  86ed / counts on items: Tecate Prep List : Should be all prepped up going in to tomorrow. We will probably need hot toddy at some point, but no urgency.  Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar was $10 short.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan did not come in this week, so we did not get tecate or high life. Our rep is following up.
