Saturday 1.21 Edgar/Jenn
Manager Communication: Pretty quiet morning. The weather was pretty chilly and didn't see a lot of foot traffic outside at open, but the ground floors ended up getting a lot of bodies in seats. Dinner round picked up once again. EA
Steady throughout dinner and well into the final round. Great crowd at Trees, with plenty of people sticking around to watch the game after seeing their movie. JH
Customer Comments: We had a guest who was very upset that she was told she could not charge her phone behind the bar. One bartender told her no, and then another bartender told her yes, so she then wanted to lodge a complaint against the first bartender who told her no, as she though they were being discriminatory.

Across the board, we should not have guest's electronic items behind the bar, charging or otherwise. Bartenders can direct guests to the outlets on the floor, but it is the guest's responsibility to keep an eye on their stuff. Just a note for this week's email so that all bartenders are on the same page. JH
BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Andrea were our openers today and ran the show as per usual. Natasha was feeling off and was cut shortly after Chelsea got in. This didn't affect the flow of business. I was able to get Andrea out as the closers arrived as well. Solid morning overall. EA
Chelsea and Lee got both bars through the main thrust of evening service, and were able to get out of here once both bars were fully restocked and heading into the final round. Matthew closed Lobby without issue, and Ashley and Gabrielle were great closing Trees. Solid service all around tonight, with a lot of great communication behind the bars, as well as between both bars, with Lobby always at the ready to help prep garnishes or related when necessary. JH
Special Events? As mentioned above, having both games screening at Trees definitely helped build up a crowd of people who were happy to continue snacking and drinking after their movies let out. Let's definitely keep this up the next two weekends. JH
86ed / counts on items: 86'd Ruby Hibiscus, we are waiting on a delivery. JH
Prep List: Looking pretty solid in the walk in. A Real Nobody and Sugar & Spice should probably be batched sometime tomorrow, but both bars are well stocked for the opening rounds. JH
